@Reese: I think about that meme everytime I kill a spider and feel a little sad, lol. But ultimately my urge to protect my daughter from scary, eight-legged monsters wins and I kill them anyway.

Depends on what kind. I can kill an itsy bitsy one. Anything bigger, or daddy long legs, I call for help!

I saw a YouTube video once and a guy was talking about how he hated bugs. He said "Everyone always says that bugs do good things and we shouldn't kill them and blah blah blah. If they're so busy doing all these things then why are they wasting time crawling on me?" Lol
ETA: here's the video. It's pretty hilarious. Lots of F bombs though.

Something involving screaming and running away and trying to kill it.
Lately, I'm trying to teach L to befriend bugs so she will be my savior since DH just laughs at me and tells me to suck it up

You had so many awesome poll choices, but I still picked Other
I let spiders live and go on about their business eating other pesky insects. I haven't run across a spider inside my house though. Growing up we had daddy long legs in our den. They were so cool.

If it's little I'll squish it with a (many times folded) paper towel and flush it, if it is larger or really fast and dh is around I scream for him to come save me, if it is large and or fast or too high I use chemical warfare until it is incapacitated then I squish it with a paper towel and flush it...

Ask DH to kill it. If he isn't around, I breathe slowly for a couple minutes and try to get up the courage to smoosh it with a paper towel and flush it.

Depends how big it is. If it's a small, like couple of centimeters total length I'll just watch it scuttle away somewhere...if it's big I'll shout for Dh to come and take it outside. When Dh wasn't here once there was a big one on the curtains in the living room and I just shut the door and didn't go back in there until he came home!

I voted "try to get your pet to eat it" I literally did this last night! I was vacuuming and this nasty looking hard shelled black beetle thing came out from under our chair. I immediately called both dogs over, and they played with it until it was dead. Then one of my cats came over and ate it! HAHAHAH Now that's teamwork!!

I generally allow spiders to go on their merry way, unless they're crawling ON me. Go eat the bugs.
Cockroaches on the other hand -- I run away screaming. F-bombs. DH always knows if I see one because he can hear me from across the house. They all deserve to DIE DIE DIE.
