...what do you do with your hair?
As much as I'd like to try going a day without a shower, the thought of my unshowered hair is scary!

I put baby powder in my hair. That gets rid of the oily roots and then I put it up. No one is the wiser!

I have terribly oily hair so for my clean hair to stay somewhat decent for another day, I'll do the following: I will blow dry it, curl it and then spray some Suave Dry Shampoo to my roots (YES, while it's STILL clean!) and brush it through.. It will stay manageable through the next day! The curling helps because I don't touch it as much.. and it also kind of disguises any oilies.
I use a 1in barrel wand, curl mostly the ends and brush it out.

Also, I've used LOTS of dry shampoo and baby powder- the suave works the best for me! And it's cheap/smells good! Just make sure it's about a foot away when you spray.

Dry shampoo and I normally will wear my hair up in a ponytail then messy bun/top knot. I only wash once a week.... From my understanding the less you wash they less oily your hair will become, mine has stayed pretty true to this.

I wear a hat. I used to wear it up but now it's too short so a hat it is!

Dry shampoo! And, if I know the night before that I am not planning to shower, I put dry shampoo in before I go to bed, and my hair looks fab in the a.m.! I can get away with dry shampoo in the a.m., but the nighttime application is definitely best!

Pony tail or clip half up half down.
I'd recommend using dry shampoo in your case though.

I only wash my hair every other day. That means on days I don't wash, I still blow out my dry hair with my round brush for about 6 minutes in the morning to get out weird sleeping kinks and frizziness.
So I blow dry my hair every day, even though I only wash it every other day.
My hair/scalp is dry. It's gotten sliiightly more oily in pregnancy, but growing up, I could have washed once a week and it would have been fine. It just didn't get greasy.

I put baby powder in it (and try to get it in enough so that my hair isn't white!) pull it back and sometimes wear a headband too. It gets so greasy by the evening though. Ugh.

I shower daily, but don't always wash my hair. Depending on how oily it is, I'll either put it up in a pony tail or use dry shampoo on the roots.

I don't have to worry about my hair. I don't have the type of hair/scalp that gets oily or greasy and I wash my hair about once a week.

Another vote for Suave dry shampoo (smells AMAZING). But honestly my hair is really thick and my scalp is dry (I suffer from some serious dandruff if I don't keep up with things) so I actually can't shampoo everyday or it would be awful. I probably only shampoo every 3-4 days. After day 1-2 I put it in a ponytail or bun, but it's less for the roots and more for the rest of my hair that starts to loook frizzy.

You guys have convinced me to look into dry shampoo! My issue is that my hair has tons of volume on the 2nd day but right around my face it starts to look greasy (especially b/c I moisturize with emu oil at night).

@spaniellove: Then dry shampoo will be your best friend! If it were me, I would apply the dry shampoo before bed (and after your face care routine), and then again in the a.m. as needed for touch ups!

I don't wash my hair everyday as it is, it usually goes into a pony tail. I used to use a dry shampoo spray(can't remember the name) and it worked pretty good. since having DS though, my hair isn't as oily

Even if I shower every day, I don't wash my hair every day. I have curly hair (though fine) so I can usually get away with one day without washing. But if it's really gnarly or I go a third day, I pin it back (it's too short for a pony).
I can't skip a day of showering though if I'm going to work, I'll feel too nasty. And if I skip it and am not working, I don't bother doing anything with my hair.

No....I literally can't skip a day. Thank you motherhood!! My hair is always greasy now. Yes, I wear hijab that's like a hat! But I don't wear it at home so I need to shower daily.

i use a dry shampoo spray or cornstarch. if i skip even that, it's a ponytail to the rescue!

My hair's always up. I've gone quite a few days without washing it.
