I would just buy a regular dress. I didn't buy a lot of maternity dresses while preggo.

I wore a regular dress to my cousin's wedding at about that same time. I have always had a poochy belly, so I just went with that. I found a dress that didn't make it look too obvious that I had a bigger pooch than normal.

I would wear a normal dress that was high waisted and flowy at over the tummy.

I would just buy a regular dress. I even wore regular dresses to two of my baby showers! They were just bigger sizes than I would normally wear in styles that worked while pregnant.

I think either would be fine. Are you worried about trying to hide the bump or no? Because if yes, I would just wear anything that's flowy.

I'm a lil past 9 weeks today! And I haven't bought any maternity clothes yet, I'd still wear a regular dress!

Anything that fits. At 9 weeks I was still wearing my regular clothes, some didnt feel as comfortable though. Even if you do wear a maternity dress most people wont realize

Okay thanks! Regular dress it is! Just gotta find something comfortable and flowy!
@artbee: Not trying to hide the pregnancy.. just wanna be comfortable

depends on the style of the dress. i was in a wedding party at 30 weeks pregnant and all bridesmaids had one of those wrap-tie dresses and it was flattering, but throughout my pregnancy I wore regular clothing, just a size or two up. have fun shopping!

Ditto what @MamaMoose wrote . . . I didn't buy maternity stuff until 14 weeks, but after weeks of being horribly bloated, I remember thinking *why the heck did I wait so long to do this?!* So, in a similar vein, I would choose a regular dress with an empire waist to maximize comfort, and to accomodate whatever changes your body will go through during the day.

I went to a wedding at 9 weeks pregnant and wore a regular dress from Jcrew that had some space in the tummy (had a higher waist but was not a flowy dress). By that time, I was wearing maternity jeans and a bella band for pants (couldn't fit into normal clothes...have short torso, was showing early) but the dress was fine.

@chopsuey119: Oh right...you already told EVERYONE! hahah. I forgot about that. You probably wouldn't fit all that great in a maternity dress right now - lots of extra fabric - so a regular dress would probably work well. Empire waists are great!

Non-maternity, but I'm a first timer. I have no idea how quickly I'll show next time...One of my friends showed at 8 weeks! And she was a usually thin & healthy person so I don't think she was just eating too much. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Wrap dresses are a great option. Ooooh - ruching could work, too. It would totally camoflage any bump/bloating, if you wanted to go with a slightly more streamlined approach.

I went to a wedding while that far along and I just wore a (black) dress I already had in the closet and it worked out just fine. I didn't want to tip off anyone about my pregnancy in an obvious maternity dress and the black was helpful for camouflaging my extra fluff.

I dunno, as a first timer, I would have been fine in a non maternity dress. As a RO, I have the feeling I might pop sooner.

Depends on the dress (if you already have one) but at 10 weeks... i'd wear a normal dress. But that's because the ones i have aren't form fitting.

I put "other" - it would depend on how I looked. If I could get away with wearing a regular dress, then I would.

I wore a non-maternity dress to a wedding at about 8 weeks pregnant with DS, but it had a design that hid my belly well, since I was already showing a bit.

Depends how much you are showing! When I was pregnant with LO I wore a normal dress to a wedding when I was 6 months along! I just chose one in material with stretch and an empire waist.
