What would you do to cheer yourself up?
I have ran, I have baked, I have shopped. I can't do anything sans LO's because DH works long hours all week and no one's available to babysit!
Help me out!!

Eek I'd do all the things you've mentioned!! The only other thing for me would be to change my hair...dramatically lol. Or rearrange a room!
P.S. You absolutely should not change your hair because its GORGEOUS!!

I organized a file cabinet while watching something vaguely trashy on Netflix. Wahoo me! I did feel *marginally* better. Lorelei was napping and Ellie was at school.

@Running Elley: haha! I need a hair cut, BAD! I have to wait a few weeks to get in though since the lady I want to see is out of town! I want to do a long angled bob kind of like this:

@HLK208: Well that would look amazing on you!!! Sooo I guess that's okay
It stinks that you have to wait though! I've been talking myself down from coloring my hair the last few days... I know it'd be a slippery slope once I started!

I'd get the LOs sorted with an activity (books, craft, movie, whatever) and sit back on the couch with my feet up, a coffee in one hand, and a good book in the other. Just 30 minutes of that is enough to make my day better.
Hope your day gets better! And I agree with @runningelley: do not change your hair - it's beautiful and I have the worst hair envy every time I see your picture!
ETA: ok, just saw the cut you were thinking of - that's lovely and will look great on you. I think I would cry though if you cut your hair short and/or changed the colour.

I usually try to have a shower to wash my hair and then make an effort with some makeup, then sit on the couch and watch something trashy on tv.

I'm so sorry you're having a crummy day!
I'm having a bad day, too, and so desperately want a buffalo chicken pizza. I know I'd eat the whole thing myself, so I won't order one.
So, don't take my advice & eat comfort food

@HLK208: that hair! Yes! You'd rock it!
I am having one of those days too
I think it is the fact that LO and I have spent entirely too much time together. My husband is also super busy this week. Sometimes a girls just gotta take a bubble bath while watching some Melrose Place DVDs-ya know?!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Ha ha, I was totally going to say eat comfort food.
And watch something my husband would never watch with me. Then paint my toenails.

@Ree723: @TurtleDoves: you guys are so sweet!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: thanks
I'm considering comfort food!

I find rearranging furniture incredibly cathartic. But I am probably weird. Ice cream helps too
But sometimes, just bed is all you can do.

@LovelyPlum: that's good advice. I'm having some debilitating cramps so maybe my best bet is a heating pad + bed as soon as the LO's go to sleep!

I'm sorry you're having a bad day
I vote for comfort food and bad TV... and maybe wine.

Bubble bath for even 15 min with LO just hanging out in the bathroom with you? You've done everything else I'd do except a hot bath and some comfort food. Hope tomorrow is a great one!
