I was induced with my second at 42 weeks. I was 4cm dilated and 90% effaced and it was soooo easy. I got pitocin at noon and baby was out at 3:50pm. She would've been out sooner but I asked for an epidural just as I was complete at 2:45. Short and easy labor!

Just wanted to report that I ended up going into labor the night of 39w6d and DD was born on her due date! Labor was pretty fast--almost 8 hours from the first noticeable contraction to the time she was born. No induction necessary, phew!

I have to admit, I was jealous reading through all these smooth induction stories (mine was most definitely not.) Anyway, happy you didn't need one!
