If you were the boss of your company for a day, or the boss of your store, etc..what would you do?
Whatever changes you make will still be in effect when you are done being boss. So, if you fire Adam he will no longer be employed with the actual boss either.

I'd be all over my 34 week pregnant employee's ass (me!) because I would know what a slacker she's being!!! I am so useless and everyone just has to know that, including my boss!

I would limit my coworker's smoke breaks...he takes like 6 of them a day for 5-10 minutes each and he also takes his breaks and lunch!

@autumnlove: In 2012, do they REALLY still allow smoke breaks??? So gross! That is so crazy....If I was a boss, I would not be sympathetic to that AT. ALL. Especially bc non-smokers don't get 5-10 minute breaks like it's no big deal - we have to sneak them!

I would require drug tests to work here, soo I'd have to just about fire them all 
I would give DH a raise
I would make the lobby (my "office") a no phone-call zone, and a quiet zone so people can't stand with their elbows on my desk talking to other people.
