I haven't talked to my dr yet, but the nurse practitioner mentioned 11 weeks. I'm curious if there's a consensus on when to stop. Also, did you stop cold turkey or wean?

I'm on progesterone suppositories (ugh). I've been told I'll stop at 12 weeks. Not sure if I'll do it slowly or all at once. I have an appointment tomorrow. I'll ask and try to update you!

10 weeks for both cycles (fresh IVF and FET). My clinic says to stop cold turkey.

12 weeks, cold turkey. I actually stopped at 11 weeks though because I ran out of pills and didn't want to buy more.

I am on progesterone shots and I started at 15 weeks and will go to 35 weeks. A nurse comes once a week to administer the shot.

I was on progesterone shots from FET transfer until 11 weeks.

I was told I'd be taking them until 12 weeks but at 9 weeks my doctor told me I could stop cold turkey and I didn't question it - I'd had bloodwork done so I assume that my levels were high enough that I didn't need it.

I took the oral progesterones and stopped at 12 weeks cold turkey. That's when the dr told me to stop. So glad I could because progesterone makes me super constipated and tired!

I'm on progesterone suppositories. I started around 12 weeks and will most likely stay on them until the end of my pregnancy.

I went to a half dose during week 10 and was off completely during week 11.

I was told I could stop at 12 weeks and I could do it cold turkey; but I continued through 13 weeks because I was traveling and didn't want to deal with MORE worry during my vacation. Also, I weaned off by taking a dose every other day, sometime like 12.5 wks - 13.5 wks.

I was on progesterone from an FET for 12 weeks. My doctor had me stop cold turkey.

I was on Endometrin (suppositories) with my fresh cycle until about 10 weeks pregnant. I stopped cold turkey. I had more pills but my levels were good and I was SO over the leaking, so I ended when the doctor's said so.

I remember that the doctor told me to stop earlier than I heard others were stopping. So after my fresh IVF cycle, maybe 9-10 weeks? Cold turkey.

I stopped at 12 weeks, cold turkey. It made me extremely nervous, but it was fine!

Thanks, ladies! I'm just over 10 weeks. I know the placenta takes over, but I'm still nervous to stop!

I stopped at about 15 weeks, a few days after seeing my OB and my packet ran out. Everything was fine after that, and after I had my baby the midwife commented on how big my placenta was. I wonder if it was because of the extra progesterone I was taking?
