How long was it before they started growing hair?
DD was born completely bald. At 5 months she has a teensy bit of fuzz but you'd still call her bald.

her hair started growing in around 7 months. i'm hoping we can get a pony in the next few months as it's longer, but still weirdly growing in! (15 months old now)

He had a smattering of hair, but not much until then. I was looking at photos on IG and it was noticeable at 15 months that it was coming in.

@birdofafeather: I was hoping you'd chime in! I was just noticing in IG pics that R is getting hair coming in really well now and I was pretty sure that she was bald like DD when she was born!

My LO wasn't completely bald but she never had much more than a mohawk until after she turned 1...

LO wasn't born totally bald, but pretty close. It started growing in a bit around a year. Now at 17 months, it's growing in even more but still not enough for a pony or anything!

I'm not sure when it really picked up speed, but its over his ears now at 10.5 months.

My friend's LO was bald but had enough wisps at 18 months for a bow. Lots of hair at 2!

L was pretty bald, and it didn't start growing a little until 9-10 months. At 15 months it's still not enough for pigtails or a ponytail, but I can have a baby whale spout if I try hard enough. I think it's starting to *really* grow now though... hurry hair!!!

@Running Elley: Our boys had a teeny bit of hair when they were born, but then it all immediately fell out. They started getting peach fuzz at around 6 months, but it's still very short. I can't imagine having to give them a haircut until they are at least 20-24 months.

It took a looooong time. He is 26 months and still doesn't have very much hair! Definitely after a year old.

My sister was bald until she was two. I think it all eventually comes in and she now has A LOT of hair. My oldest son didn't have much hair for the longest time. He wasn't bald but he just didn't have thick hair. Now at almost 5 he has pretty thick hair.

My dd was super bald until around 12 months when her hair finally started showing up in pictures today, at 16 months, she finally has enough for tiny pig tails! I'm so excited!

My LO was not born bald, but he lost all the hair he was born with between 1 and 2 months. By the time he was 9 months it was crazy enough in the back that I took him in for a trim.

@Running Elley: yeah, i'm super pumped that it's finally growing! i try to pull it into a pony a couple times a week, but she still has a bit of "party in front" going on! ha.
@rrachael: oh, maybe i should try that!

# 1 was born practically bald and it started coming in thick around 1 year.
# 2 was born with tons of dark hair, at 2.5 it's to her shoulder blades.
#3 was born practically bald too, it's so fine but coming in a little more at 8 months. She still looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket
