My LOs rooms touch. LO1 sleeps through everything, thankfully, because LO2 is up multiple times per night. I think LO2 is sometimes woken up by LO1 coughing.

All three of our bedrooms are next to each other, and I wondered the same thing. So far no one has woken anyone up & other than occasionally throwing on the bathroom fan to act like a white noise machine I haven't taken any other meaaures to drown out noise.

they're across the hall, but LO2 is in our room which shares a wall with LO1. LO1 hasn't woken at all from the baby..I'm shocked! we have a dohm in the hallway, but I still thought she'd hear her.

E's toddler squeals are H's white noise. Doesn't even phase him. We never used a white noise machine and make no special effort to be quiet during naps.

I started introducing white noise in my older child's room to block out the noises coming from his sister's room. I decided not to have white noise in the baby's room though so she can get used to sleeping with noise. It worked out well. She never fussed over the noises her brother made. He ended up being a lot more noisy than the baby.

Our lo's share a wall and we do not use white noise. They both sleep fine! I was worried as I thought DD would have issues but I've been pleasantly surprised. She has woken DS from nap before on purpose though Thankfully that is infrequent.

DD and DS share a wall and have a heating vent that basically connects the two rooms. I was all worried about it but it's been no problem so far! M was already used to sleeping with white noise and we have a marpac in each room.

I'm worried what it will be like if we have to / choose to sleep train though.

I was worried about this too, but surprisingly, it was never an issue! We had white noise machines and they blocked out sound well, but even when we transitioned them to a shared room, DD usually slept through DS's cries!
