who did you live with growing up?
I lived with my dad until I started high school. Then I moved in with my mom.

My mom. Went to our dad's every other weekend.

Mine divorced junior year of high school. My mom moved to a different country and took me with her. I wanted to stay with dad.
I moved out a year and a half later to go to college.

My dad and stepmom. I saw my mom MAYBE once a year when I lived in TX and once every couple years after we moved to LA when I was 12.

My dad. I visited my mom during school breaks until I turned 16 and got a job.

My mom. We saw my dad only in the summer when he lived far away and one weekend a month in high school when he lived nearby.

My parents divorced when I was 18, so I lived with my mom and went to my dads for visits a few times per week. When I was 19 or 20 I lived with my dad for a year because I hated my step dad. But my dad is a really negative person and very hard to get along with, so then I moved back in with my mom for the last two years of university. I got along better with my step dad and now we get along great.... the day after I finished school I moved out!

My parents divorced after I had DS. My siblings live with my dad and go to my mom's every other weekend.
ETA: I'm really surprised at how many of you lived with your dad. I've always seen living with mom as the norm for divorced families.

@Sweet T: I'm surprised too. I was the only kid I knew who lived with their dad instead of mom.

I did one week with one, then switch.
I moved out a year and a half later to go to college.
