I think he would pick the same names we already chose I know 100% he would choose Jack for a boy.

My husband likes to tease me about baby names. I don't want to discuss them until after we find out if it is a boy or girl, so we've had no serious discussions about it. But sometimes he brings it up and suggests things like Buck or Donald or Trixie (after his beloved deceased childhood cat, of course lol).

Jack was Mr. Bee's first choice, but then later he also loved Milo.

He loved Ella for a girl but it was so popular.

He would name a boy Seamus. . Which I really don't like.

Cruz for a boy, Rowan for a girl. I like both!

If we have a boy, his name would be hubby's. Not on my watch!

DH has said for years he wants the name Thor if it's a boy. I still can't tell if he's serious or not. I go back and forth on it.

I just would hate to see what would happen if we go ahead and give a boy that name, then he turns out to be a tiny little thing! Talk about feeling like you're not living up to expectations!

I do like Odin (Thor's father) perhaps a bit more. I think there was someone on here who recently named their son that?!

At this point, if promising the Norse Gods that I would name my first born Thor would mean a bfp...I'd do it.

My husband was VERY involved in picking our son's name (he claims he wouldn't have cared as much picking a girl name). We picked the first name together (Cliff) and I gave him carte blanche for the middle name. He chose the middle name "Ryder" because it sounds like a SURFER name (he doesn't surf). True Story!

He wanted Jack or Benjamin if we had a boy and Ava if we had a girl.

Other than the names we picked together she loved Inez or Ingrid, which are a bit off my radar but have grown on me. For boys she wants to name him Noah after me (Noa) and she loved Isaac (what's with the I name fixation?) which I disliked at first but now has special meaning for me as it was our first hurricane we experienced together. Our names are decided but I'll put them on our extended list if for some reason we have 3...

DH only wants girls, and really wants to name one Zelda. Like the video game.

His more serious name choices were Adam for a boy and Madeline Grace for a girl. I vetoed both, but his next girl choice of Amelia Grace was on our short list until LO came out a he.

ETA : Also Grace Catherine. Now now Rory (for a boy) and William are on his boy list for the second child hypothetical he's so sure he doesn't want

He only has strong feelings about one name: he wants his son to be named Sinbad (like the sailor, not the actor). I wish I were joking. I have strongly vetoed it a million times but he won't stop bringing up, I think he really believes he might wear me down. Ha. Ha. Ha.
