How do you wear dresses? I never wear them because I feel like I need to wear leggings or biker shorts (do they still make those?) underneath. I would love to wear some maxi dresses, but I don't want to feel my legs rubbing.

Almost never because my old Spanx are too small. But a good fitting pair of the high waisted Spanx shirts do the trick.

Weirdest trick ever, but I rub deoderant on my inner thighs. Keeps chafe at bay!

In the winter I wear tights. In the spring/fall I may wear Spanx. Summer I use Body Glide (what I use for triathlons to prevent chaffing from wetsuits and biking). My friend told me she used it under dresses -- genius! http://www.amazon.com/BodyGlide-BGCB-Bodyglide-Original-Anti-Chafe/dp/B005L8YVRO

@meganmp: I've heard that before! It sounds sooo weird, but it makes sense. I would get the *weirdest* look from DH if he saw me doing that though.... haha

I wear BodyGlide. Works wonders! However...it does rub off after awhile (I learned the hard way during a half-marathon). Stash it in your bag to reapply if it's going to be hot and you'll be out all day.

@BabyBoecksMom: I hate with a H my legs touching. I almost always have to wear jams to sleep in because I hate it so much. (To DH's everlasting chagrin, but I'll never tell him why! I usually say it is because I'm cold, ha.) All that to say...I wear Spanx.

I put deodorant too!! I wear dresses a lot at work, comfy and I can still sit on the carpet with the students. I rock tights most days, but just rub some between the legs and I am good to go!(I have an extra one just for this purpose...)

I recently found this...
Bandelettes - product: anti chafing thigh http://www.bandelettes.com/tag/chafing-thighs/
I wore them to a wedding and they worked... but... I want to say you get two... one for each thigh and at the wedding they kept rubbing against each other for me and rolling because of that... but I figured out that if I just use one on one thigh it worked out better for me. Just a note just in case you get them. I think they were worth it for me.

Body glide!! I have huge thighs from running and lifting heavy and I swear by it!

I've done the deodorant trick before and it works! I do this when I know I will be dancing or sweating somehow, or sitting for a long time, which makes it worst.

If I'm not wearing tights or leggings under, I steal dh's boxer briefs I also have a pair of yoga shorts, but his are thinner material. I've used deodorant or baby powder too, but those wear off if I'm out and about for longer amounts of time.

Body Glide for me too! Or any other anti-chafe cream (CVS makes a good one). Again, keep it in your purse to reapply! I find that the legs of my spanx roll up and I am constantly pulling them down.

I put a little baby powder or anti-chaffing cream under there. I've used body glide, but often use the Monistat one (it's NOT for yeast infections, it's a separate product) since it's also an awesome face primer.

I use deodorant or wear spans type shorts - but i wanted to say that I always thought my thighs rubbed together because I was pleasantly plump - but at 130lbs or 180lbs my thighs still rubbed - and I have a friend who is pushing 180lbs but has very wide set hips, so even at that weight she has no chub rub issues - I realise now it isn't totally weight related!

I do spanx or deodorant. But on super hot days or days I know I'll be walking a lot I just suck it up and wear pants

@Smurfette: I use that, too. Deodorant when I run out. Cocoa butter in a pinch, (but it doesn't work as well as the others).

My sister does bike shorts! I just suffer like an idiot. I think I'll try these tricks this summer!

I wear bike shorts. I always thought I was the only weird one who did this...

I swear by band aid brand blister stick. It's slightly larger than chapstick and therefore easy to keep in your purse in the summer.
