What do you like to cook? We're having one in a week and I have tons of ideas, but can't decide!

Grilled chicken and burgers. Grilled veggies. A cold pasta salad.
Beer.

Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, corn, cold salads, fruit salad, easy desserts.

Burgers, hot dogs, veggies (grilled asparagus and/or corn on the cob), potato salad.

Depends on the crowd and # of people. Smaller crowd usually we throw something in the smoker. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork etc.
Bigger crowd we'll do good ol burgers and dogs.
Always corn. Always.

Burgers and brats if it's a lot of people. DH loves to do ribs if we're just having a couple friends.
Serve it with pasta salad, grilled corn on the cob, baked beans, and some fresh fruit.Mmmmm now I'm hungry!

We are having one next weekend. We are doing the meats and then everyone is bringing a side dish. I think we are going to do pulled pork and chicken. I still need to figure out what sides I am going to make. I want to make sure we have plenty of food.

I made Pioneer Woman's macaroni salad to bring to a bbq recently and people went nuts for it.

depends on the crowd, but we can do the standard american BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, corn, watermelon, or we can do tri tip, asparagus, zucchini. i also love kebabs with shrimp!

We had a barbecue last weekend and we served sausages, burgers, chicken legs, belly pork and minted lamb kebabs. We also provided a huge bowl of salad! Yum!

Burgers, sausages/brats, and hot dogs (for the unsophisticated folks like myself!), potato salad, baked beans, mac and cheese, rolls, and plenty of chips/dips!
ETA: Annnd cake and ice cream!

We like to deviate from traditional bbq a bit...
Meats - Wings, sausages, skirt steak, chicken hearts
Seafood - Fishball (very Asian!), fish, squid, clams
Veggies - Asparagus, portabello -

@locavore_mama: That's the only way we roll! Even with non Asian friends! DH despises the avg burger & hot dog lol.

Meat - some kind of beef from the Mexican market since they marinade it for you and it's cheap! Some kind of chicken from the same market. Burgers and hot dogs. If we like to splurge, we'll get kalbi or some steaks.
Sides - all over the place, chips, rice, corn, chips and queso, etc.

We had one last weekend for L's first birthday! I wanted to keep it simple and not spend the whole party with DH or I at the grill, so we did hot dogs in the crock pot (which sounds weird, but they came out great!) and had a little toppings bar with ketchup, mustard, chili, onions, cheddar cheese, and relish. Then we also had potato salad, baked beans, a veggie tray, chips and dip, and corn on the cob. Another easy favorite of mine is pulled pork.

We're having two this weekend! one small, one big.
For the small we are doing a skirt steak, salad, and a berry angel food trifle.
For the big we are doing steak tips, brats, hot dogs, pulled pork, potato salad, chips and 7 layer dip, and banana pudding.

burgers, grilled chicken, brats, a fresh salad, something yummy for dessert, and some specialty drink of some kind! i LOVE to make a big pitcher of deliciousness for all!
