Is your pregnancy going by fast or slow? I'm about 32 weeks, and it's crawling for me This is my first, so I know I should just enjoy these last 8 weeks, but it's hard not to just wish that time away.

Slow for the first half but it is flying by right now. I am also at 32 weeks.

Fast. It's my second, and I WOH full-time and solo parent most evenings, and I got a BFP and just blinked and am nearly 16wks (and we're hopefully finding out the sex next weeks!)

Fast! I'm 35 weeks and I have no idea how that happened! It was way faster with LO2 than LO1!
pomelo / 5129 posts
Both. I feel like benchmarks will never get here (like it's taken forever to get to my 12 week check up tomorrow), but when I look back, it doesn't really seem like I've been pregnant for 2.5 months already.

I'm 19 weeks and looking forward to the halfway point. It's been going quicker since I started mr second trimester. This is also my first.

Up until 24 weeks (until morning sickness finally disappeared) it was SO slow. But since then time really has flown by. I'm 36 weeks and even though I want LO to be born, I want more time to enjoy the pregnancy. This is LO2.

The first half was so slow. It feels like it's going faster now.

2nd pregnancy: super slow (to 10wks), then quite fast (to now, 28wks), and I have a feeling the rest will go by even faster. It does help that there is a lot going on, what with a 3 year old and a bunch of house/life maintenance things happening!

So slow until around 20 weeks and then it flew by. Around 30 weeks it began to creep again -- currently 32 weeks and can't wait to make it to full term.

Slow...I"m 25 weeks and I feel like this time (22-32 weeks) goes by so slowly because nothing much is happening!
apricot / 261 posts
So fast! Just about 25 weeks, and I can't believe it! We have so much to do still (not all baby related), that I hope it slows down a bit.
pear / 1998 posts
It's my first - I'm 7 weeks now and it feels like I have been keeping this secret forever. I still have over two weeks until my first appointment, so I have no idea if everything is ok and it is making me anxious. It is going by SO SLOWLY!

@hilsy85: agree!
It was going SUPER crazy fast up until about 25 weeks and now it just feels like I'm at a standstill of 27 weeks. I think once I hit 30ish weeks it'll go fast again( I hope!)

Slow. I'm so happy and glad I'm at 25 weeks but being pregnant after IF is a bit tougher than I had imagined. Then add in a twin pregnancy. Taking everything day by day... I'm having my shower in two weeks and I'm hoping that will help us get the nursery done. I'm sure time will fly after that. Twins on average are delivered at 36 weeks... that's 11 weeks away! Eeek!

This is my 2nd and it's going super fast. I am trying to enjoy our time as a family of 3. I am also dreading my csection recovery.

Flying by! I'm pregnant with my third (29 weeks) and it feels like I just found out I was pregnant
persimmon / 1179 posts
At light speed. I'm 36 weeks and feels like I just found out. This is my second baby though so my toddler keeps me busy. My first pregnancy definitely went by much slower.
pear / 1693 posts
Both. I can't believe I'm already 25 weeks, but at the same time 15 more weeks seems like a looooooong time.
persimmon / 1461 posts
the first part was slow... I feel like I've been going since October last year... pregnant, miscarriage, d & c, pregnant again. Once the nausea kicked it in it felt like it was taking foreeeeeever. Now at almost 20 weeks it feels like its gone quite fast, though I'm sure its going to slow right down again by 30 weeks.

Slow so far just over 7 weeks. Last time things got faster after my ultrasound and everything looked ok

It seems like it is going slowly but I am 38 weeks and am trying to enjoy these last few weeks. People keep commenting that it has gone by quickly but when I think back to getting my BFP in November it seems like it was soooo long ago.
grapefruit / 4862 posts
Both! Overall it seem faster than with LO1 but because of how much harder this one is it also seems slower. It's the strangest thing!
pear / 1809 posts
It feels like it's going fast. I think that's because it's my second pregnancy, and I'm busy chasing my toddler around all day. He keeps me active, so most of the time I don't think about being pregnant. Although now I'm in freakout mode, because I have less than 5 weeks left and still so much to do!
pineapple / 12053 posts
Felt fast up until 19 weeks and then I feel like it's going so slowly. I'm 23 weeks and it feels like I should be further along! This is my second so I'm not lingering on everything but I also don't have anything to research or stock up on or even a nursery to decorate or get ready! I've been super busy the last few months and now things are slowing down so I feel like October/November is light years away!

pregnant with DS2 and the entirety of pregnancy has flown by (i feel like we were just TTC #2/found out we were pregnant), but now that I'm past 37 weeks, it seems like July is going to last forever. It's still surreal though because I still have moments like "OMG I'm going to have a baby in less than a month!"
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
So fast! I can't believe I'm almost 30 weeks. Chasing a toddler seems to make time fly.
pomelo / 5791 posts
It was going fast in the beginning, but now that I'm almost 37 weeks it is DRAGGING.
pear / 1610 posts
I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow and so far it been slow! The beginning always feels slow to me, with worry that everything's okay and feeling sick. Hopefully once we see the Dr and have an ultrasound it will start to go more quickly!
pomelo / 5084 posts
Pretty quickly actually. I am 21 weeks tomorrow and it seems crazy to realize I took the test in early March!! I heard the second part goes faster (this is our first and only) so I hope that is true.
persimmon / 1196 posts
Overall it's flying by (18w4d), but there have been stretches that dragged. It's gone particularly quickly since we told everyone at the beginning of the second trimester. I've also just been super busy - I hope life slows down a bit and I have some time to focus on getting ready for baby!
