A high school classmate of mine was in a car accident last night. Her husband was killed, and she is dristing in and out if consciousness. I'm told she isn't doing well. Their 8 month old daughter is at children's hospital, but I don't have any word on her condition.
Right now, she doesn't know her husband has passed.
I'm just.. Ugh. I'm so upset. I can't even imagine. If you're the praying type, please send them love and good thoughts and prayers.

This is so awful, and to happen on Christmas! My heart goes out to her family and I will pray that your friend and her daughter recover quickly and fully. This is just so sad, I can't even imagine what their family is going through.

@locavore_mama: another driver crossed lanes and hit them head on. She died at the scene.
The news is reporting that neither she or my friends husband were wearing seatbelts, and I've heard speculation of her being a drunk driver, but nothing conclusive has been reported.

My friend is being moved from icu to a regular room. She has several injuries, none life threatening. Her daughter is fine and already released from the hospital. My friend got to see her daughter today.
I'm assuming she knows about her husband now.. I'm so sad!!
Only my friend was wearing her seatbelt. Her child was in a RF car seat..
