DH cut his finger pretty badly at work, while doing a work-related task. He bandaged it up to stop the bleeding but had to go to urgent care in the evening to have it glued and steri-stripped closed because it hadn't stopped bleeding. The bill was almost $300.
Since the injury happened while he was doing his job, should work cover the bill?
Has anyone had a similar situation? How did you deal with it?
to go in and talk to his boss and get a report filled out today! I'm hoping that since apparently no one in his department knew what to do, they'll cut him some slack about it and get everyone up to speed on proper protocol. I'm glad this was only a relatively minor incident.
