I am just curious as to how everyone's sex life is during pregnancy. DH and my sex life has really gone down hill. For one, he is scared he is going to hurt the baby (which I know he won't), and for 2, positions are... difficult. I try to make it up to him in other ways, but its just not the same. Are there others experiencing the same thing? What did you/are you doing to make up for it?

Now that we're out of the 1st trimester it's MUCH better! back to every few days or atleast the weekends.
I remember with DS positions got kinda hard and from behind was pretty much the only way that worked..... and by the end I had pillows under my legs to give me more height since my belly was so big! lol
I'm already not quite as big as when I was preggers with DS so I'm hoping that it won't be QUITE as difficult in the end.
Just keep workin at it and communicating to see what is most doable =)

I am just at the beginning of my second trimester, and we have been having sex a lot less often so far, mostly because I was doing vaginal progesterone twice per day during the first trimester, which once it was in, sex was not going to happen. Now that I have stopped the progesterone, I think things will pick up until I get bigger, then we will have to get creative.

Not sure how you feel about videos with sexual content, but bettersex.com has a couple "educational videos" of sorts about sex during pregnancy. I am not yet pregnant, so I can't offer any personal advice, but a friend of mine mentioned the lack of sex life while she was pregnant. Between that and the scene in the movie "Knocked Up" it made me take notice and file that tidbit away for future reference. I'm at the end of my second trimester now, 25 weeks.
I miss sex! But our situation is different, because my DH is away for weeks at a time. Every time he comes home its great. We never had a time when it was uncomfortable, at least not yet. Last time he was home, I was still comfortable on the bottom, but not for cuddling after, lol, I imagine when he's home next it will be less comfortable.
