I'm still on pregnancy number 1 but I am constantly nervous that something is going to go wrong, before every single appointment.... I think it's pretty normal.

I bet you know people who just have the worst luck in the world - everything seems to happen to them. Then there are those people who just sail through life, seemingly without a hiccup. I don't think "luck" makes any attempt to be fair so I wouldn't worry that you are due a disaster. It just doesn't work like that.

I'm your fellow January momma, but I feel the same way!! Baby #1, pregnancy #1, got pregnant in 4 cycles. Seems like it's been too easy. I don't know how to not be nervous, but as I've reached 8 weeks this week I feel like it's gotten worse,so I totally understand!! All I can think is that I can't change whatever may or may not happen, and the odds are in our favor (with each passing week, the risk of miscarriage decreases). I'm still nervous and scared, but I guess it's my way of telling myself to stop dwelling on it? I dunno. But good luck today!

Hang in there, mama. I'm pulling for you. ( You already know that I was a bundle of nerves, so it would be entirely too hypocritical for me to tell you not to be nervous, lol).

@Navy_Mommy: You know what I went through with my last pregnancy and I was able to have a perfectly healthy baby and I did well too.
You will be just fine and now that you know high BP is a possibility it can be managed sooner and quicker.
You are extremely healthy this time as well so I think all will be just fine. Relax and enjoy your blessing.

Yes! I am a fellow January momma too. I am so nervous too and my first appointment is in one week. I am about 9 1/2 weeks along and dying to hear a heartbeat or see the baby! I agree with sometimes feeling like it was "too easy". This is my 2nd and I can totally understand how you are feeling. I just keep praying for a healthy baby and trusting it will all be okay!
