Did anyone get told they had an irritable uterus? The midwife at the hospital told me I had one and my doctor today said there's a chance I could deliver early because of it, but they don't really know if there's a correlation. If you had it, did you deliver early?

I'm not sure if that's what I had or not, but I came across it when I was researching while I was in the hospital. I started contracting at 23 weeks and never stopped. I delivered at 25 weeks, 3 days.

I didn't have an irritable uterus but I read about it while I was on bedrest for something else.
From what I've read, it appears that women who have an irritable uterus are more likely to experience pre-term contractions which I suppose could lead to pre-term labour.
