YES! I need it to be warm so we can go outside and play. Being cooped up makes us all crazy and grumpy and the days drag. I'm a wimp and don't like spending much time outside if it's too cold, and LO2 can't walk yet so it makes it even more difficult. I hesitate to go to indoor playspaces because it seems like every time we do someone ends up sick.

YES. We have a newborn and a toddler and the snow is much taller than my two year old. We are going stir-crazy. 35 days until spring!

Winter with a toddler is brutal. We have been passing a cold back and forth this last month. There are indoor things to do but they cost money.

I miss the summer and hanging out in the yard after work before and after dinner. And parks on the weekend or going for walks.

We still have a good couple months of cold weather ahead.

Not too bad since I moved to Portland Oregon. When there are long rain jags we can get a little stir crazy but usually there are enough breaks and it's temperate enough not to be bad once we survive mid November through mid January. We get early springs out here. I feel so terrible for everyone who is getting pummeled with snow and sickeness right now. I absolutely think it would be harder to parent in all that. We don't live in California or Florida but we have it pretty easy here compared. I hope you guys see spring sooner than you think.

Last winter I would've said yes. But this winter has been better. We get out hiking every week and LO loves to play in the snow. But it's been really warm lately, like in the 40s and 50s. So that makes it easier.

Getting some outside time every dahskes a huge difference in their moods. And as long as they are bundled up properly, there's no worries.

I AM ready for it to get lighter later in the evening. I miss after dinner park trips!

I'm also in Atlantic Canada like @Charm54 and it's so hard to do anything outside because of the extreme cold. My son doesn't seem to mind it but as I get older I'm just not a fan of the bitter cold and snow.

This winter has sucked a lot. No fresh air, no exercise, no friends, always sick.....no daylight after I get off work :(. In the spring/summer, i'll take E to the park at 430pm! Now, i can't

Yes, parenting has been really hard lately. Its been snowing or freezing every single day for 3 weeks. There is only so much you can do to entertain yourself and an infant...

Yep. Feeling the same way. It's been the most brutal this year for sickness and depression in our house. I hate it!

Yes! Plus everyone wants to take their kids out so all the indoor places are covered in crazy germs.

I definitely give Paige liquid vitamin D drops and I'm taking her to an indoor water park this saturday. Hopefully the warm humid environment will help her sinuses!

I think it's harder in the terms of fidning things to do to entertain her! She goes stir crazy being cooped up but I swear every time we take her to an indoor playground/museum she ends up sick! no matter how much hand washing, ect. we do while we are there. It's a hard choice. We took her to an inflatable park 2 weeks ago, and she spend the next week with influenza/bronchitis. not good.
