I want to somehow incorporate my mom's name into DD2's name. We decided on the first name, but can't decide if the middle name is too much. (But it's the only way that I can get my mom's name into her name)
Cora Caroline (last name pronounced Bock)
I know that middle names are hardly ever used, but I still want to make sure it flows.

The names Cora and Caroline are beautiful but I'm not sure if I would do the double "kuh" sound. I think it puts the flow off.

Another option would be to use Coraline as the first name and call her Cora, not sure if you like that though. It's not your mom's exact name, but I think it's close enough to still honor your mom.

I really love the combo as is -- and as you can see, opinions really vary. So I'd say it's best to go with what you feel strongly about!

Just a thought, but could you combine Cora and Caroline and do Coraline as a first name?

I think it's pretty, but a bit of a mouthful. It doesnt flow off the tongue or pass the yell test for me.
Fun story, our girl name for another daughter would be Caroline, and we plan to call her Cora.

Beautiful! Maybe the flow is not perfect but they are both lovely names and the sentiment wins for me Plus if you do not plan to call her both all the time I think it is fine.

It's a bit of a tongue-twister for me. For some reason I read it as Cora Coraline. But I love all those names, Cora, Coraline and Caroline, but it's a little difficult for me to say together.
