I like both names but I think they're a mouthful when put together.

It is a mouthful, but if you don't think you will be calling her Cora Caroline too often, go for it. Both names are really pretty.

FWIW, I don't think I've ever called DS by his first+middle.

@BabyBoecksMom: just a thought --- what is your moms maiden name? would that fit in the middle instead?

@Mrs. Champagne: That's what I was thinking too! I like both Caroline and Cora, but I agree with others that it's a mouthful. For me, family meaning trumps mouthful, but not everyone would agree obviously.

Love the suggestion of Coraline! Or what about Nora instead of Cora?

Too odd! My best friend in HS's name is Caroline Cora. I think it is lovely, and I'm sure she would be excited to know you named your child after her, LOL! But yes, the other way around is equally lovely and I am sure she won't mind you changing it up a little.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: @Mrs. Jacks: @erinpye: @Ginabean3: I liked Coraline, but DH nixed that idea. Also, my mom's middle name is Carol, so I'm trying to keep it close to that since DD1 has MIL's middle name

I'm a sucker for sentiment and think the name is perfect. Who knows maybe she'll use CC or CoCo as a nickname...both are cute.
