the formal dining room and the nursery and the two guest baths are the only rooms that are complete the way i like them-- (we've been here over 3 years!! :P)

Some areas are. We still have a long way to go!

Most of it is. I still want to do a gallery wall in the living room, and the guest room isn't very nice right now but it will eventually be los room when we have #2 so I'm too lazy to decorate it.

Most of it is. My office, nursery, our bedroom and dining room are. Our living room is also pretty much decorated, but I want to have it painted.

We live in an apartment, so...we have stuff up on the walls and everything, but that's as far as we can go. One of the reasons I'm dying to buy a house is so I can decorate as I please! But we'll probably be renters for at least 2 more years, since SO doesn't know where his job will take him after school.

Not anymore, we are in the process if buying a new place and moving out of our current home this weekend- the walls are so bare!

we live in an apartment, so it's kind of decorated, but nothing too permanent. we can't paint or anything though, so meh, it's not all what i'd want (all our walls are white)

Nope, we just moved in Feb. Then had LO so we are still working on it. Living room is up first but we need a new couch first.

For the most part. I am always looking for things to add, though!

We're moving in a month or so, and I have so much stuff in storage that I can't wait to break out. I lived a pretty bare life in the last 4 years as we were in a temporary location.

Bedrooms all are but our master is still a little bare...needs some art and furniture in the corner. Most of the house is decorated, but we are still missing seating in the formal living room.

Yes! I love home decorating. I'm always adding new things and switching things out though. I like to keep it fresh!

Not complete. I have the big pieces and window treatments up, but there isn't any at on the walls. DH doesn't want to put at up because he thinks the walls aren't song enough. Weirdo. Right now I don't want to spend the money on art because framing is so expensive. Eventually we will have art. There's an annual art expo in Atlanta I want to attend when the time comes. The srtists are hawking their wares by day three the prices are slashed.

Nope and we've had our house for 5.5 years! The living has some pictures hanging up, but that's about it.

It's mostly decorated. It's funny, the room I liked the most (guest room) was the one we dismantled to turn into a nursery. I feel like I can't get any of the other rooms "just right".

Only our office and even then it isn't ideal. I've always been horrible about getting things decorated because I hate making big decisions. We rent and I think that holds me back in my mind, too but I should just go for it!

No, but my excuse is we have only been at our house for 1 year and LO came 6 weeks early and we have been constantly trying to catch up.

Oh, and I have expensive taste.. so to get what I want I have to space it out over time.

Pfft our house isn't even completely unpacked from our move at the beginning of the month! It's so hard moving with kids!

Most of it. It's always a work in progress though. I always seem to decorate and change my mind and re-decorate.

I'd say we got about 85% of the way there... and then instead of finishing all the bits we've never touched, we REdecorated the guestroom to create a nursery instead...
@littlek: I have expensive taste too but I'm too impatient to save up and wait to buy things so I'm always trying to DIY stuff on the cheap instead!

We've been in our house for 5 years and the only rooms that are "done" are the living/dining room and L's room. I wanted to have the spare room done by last Christmas, but that didn't happen and now I think we should just hold off until we have another baby, since baby 2 will live in there. Our room is slowly coming along, but we really want a new king bed. One day...

all I can say is.... hahahahahahaahahaha. (no) Maybe if we didn't rent!

We moved into our house about a year before we got married. We painted every room right away, but then all of our time was consumed with wedding planning. It's almost our one year anniversary, and we have two pictures hung on the wall. We are finally getting around to furnishing and decorating that way we want. I have lots of plans and ideas, but it just takes so much time and money to execute them

Ummmm, no. We built almost 3 years ago and nothing is on the walls. I'm a huge perfectionist.
honeydew / 7091 posts
Not at all. The only room that is decorated is the nursery. We've been here for 3 years in July, and are still using everyone's leftover furniture... We've been doing a TON of fixing up and remodeling though, so hopefully soon!
GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts
Not really! We rent though... I hung pictures on the wall and tried to coordinate colors etc but that's about it!!
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
I'm satisified with the nursery, our room & the kitchen. However, I've stopped worrying about it because we won't be in this house much longer! (hoepfully!)
