Mine's not: Sarah, and a simple McK last name. I have some co-workers with very Polish names (other nationalities too, but I have the most trouble with the Polish ones) and I have a cheat sheet at my desk with some of the harder names phonetically spelled out...I have to page them over the PA system all during the day, and want to make sure I get it right!

My married last name is very French and tough to speak if you only see it spelled out. First name is super easy.

You'd think my first name would be easy (Angelina) but for some reason people think calling me Angela is ok?? not sure why.
No offense to the Angela's of the world....but it's annoying. It's not Angela, it's Angelina!! Haha

First name isn't that common so there are some people who find it difficult. Last name is easy.

No, but it's very often confused for a very similar much more common name. My maiden last name was Greek and everyone screwed it up. My married name should be easy (it's literally made up of two common words in the English language) but people mess it up.

My first and married name are easy, but my maiden name was hard to figure out (only 4 letters, but people always butchered it!)

my first name is only 4 letters long and is made up of only 2 different letters. You'd think it would be easy but I'm constantly surprised by how people manage to butcher it.
My last name is Italian and longish at 10 letters. It's actually completely phonetic when you take the time to read out the letters but people get intimidated just looking at it and start making up random pronunciations.

Neither my first nor my last name is difficult to pronounce. People always feel the need to add an 's' to my last name, though.

My first name no, but my married last name is an 11 letter German last name, that only has 3 vowels, so people butcher it all the time! ha

My last name is the third most common last name in America, so no. But my first name (Alicia) has multiple correct pronunciations, and people also butcher it or call me completely different names (Ashley, Allison, Lisa). My maiden name I didn't think was so hard, but people always wanted to turn the N into an "R" sound, making it Lowry.

Painfully simple. At least my married name spiced it up a tiny bit (still simple though).

My last name (married name) is hard for people to pronounce correctly. It's German and it starts with a letter combination that is usually silent in English.

Nope. Common first and last names. My maiden name is impossible for people, though, since it's french.

First name is easy to pronounce, I don't think anyone has ever mispronounced it. Our last name is ethnic but we're lucky that it's pretty easy to pronounce phonetically. My maiden name was a little more difficult.

Yes. There's a famous race car driver with my name, just one letter difference. Now everyone pronounces my name like hers and it's completely different!
I have to answer the phone at work with my name, and people butcher it when they say it back to me. Or they say, "...what?" Haha

I go by my middle name and I havent met one person who hasnt pronounced it a different way. Both maiden and married last name people always get it wrong

My first name is easy, last name is pronounced exactly how it's spelled but people still mess it up. DH's first and last name are both impossible for most native English-speakers to get right on the first try...and in the case of his last name, on the second or fourth or fifty-seventh try. (Not one of the reasons I kept my own name, but I am kinda glad I don't have to deal with that! Poor DD is going to have to start correcting people as soon as she can talk...)

Yes, apparently so. It's Swedish and easily pronounced phonetically but since people aren't familiar with it they almost always say it wrong,

My married last name is the same as a common English word if you add a letter to the beginning, but it isn't pronounced in the way that rhymes with that word, so literally no one pronounces it correctly.

Hardly anyone can pronounce my last name. Most people add random letters to it, like a W or think if starts with a gah- sound.
Even when I spell it out, people write it down incorrectly!

My Italian last name (I kept my maiden) is hard. I was speaking with a service call on the phone today and she completely butchered it while confirming my info. I've heard it all so I don't even correct people anymore!

My name is quite popular these days but people regularly mess it up. And the always write "s" in my last name instead of "z". Always!
