I was in a meeting at work and my belly just got super itchy! I'm 7w4d with twins. Do itchy bellies usually mean belly growth? Anybody experience this?

Yes your skin can get itchy from the stretching. Try to moisturize really well morning and night. It should help.

I can so sympathize! I'm 34 weeks and feel like my belly is constantly on fire and itchy.

I'm thinking an itchy belly indicates growth. Even if lotions and oils do nothing to help prevent stretch marks, I have noticed that keeping stuff on my stomach helps a lot with the itching.

Any recommendations for good moisturizing creams/lotions? I seem to remember people talking about Palmer's Cocoa Butter.

My favorite by far has been L'Occitane's Almond Supple Skin Oil. I have not had a single belly itch since I started using it.

My belly has been itchy lately too!! I thought it was way too early for that (8w3d), but I guess not.

Itching usually means stretching.. I didnt experience this until the 2nd trimester but everyone is different

One thing, I don't miss about being pregnant. I felt this the most the last trimester. Keep hydrated and I really liked Mama Mio Belly Butter!

I have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter and have found that it helps to reduce some of the itchiness caused by a growing tummy. And it smells great, too!
