So sorry! =(

i am so, so sorry. that breaks my heart. it's such an awful kind of hurt. i think you remember that my sister lost her 13-year old black pug last fall and it still hurts. they are truly the best companions, which is why they're wonderful but of course it leaves a gaping hole when they leave. you and pedro were blessed to have each other for the time that you did, and he knows he is loved. i tell my sister this and i know the same is true for pedro--he does not want you to be sad. he loved every minute with you, and even though it was time for him to go, he is at peace.
