I hope everyone can help me co-host this month. I have a new job I will be starting which may limit my time. Fingers crossed so tight for each of us!
Cycle number/months TTC: 17
CD: 19
POAS date (if any): 1/12
Backstory: DH's SA was normal, my HSG was clear, on Cycle 17...so things are "unexplained" for now.
Plan for this cycle: This is our first cycle on 50 mg of Clomid. FX!
What are you looking forward to in 2015? I am looking forward to getting some answers. 2015 will be a year full of answers for my husband and I. We will learn more about what he can do in his career and what infertility roads we will take. It's just an exciting year to see what the Lord has in store for us.

Cycle number/months TTC: 17
CD: 20
POAS date (if any): 1/15
Backstory: We have a DD already and it took us about a year to conceive her. Both me and DH have been tested, with everything coming back normal, so unexplained at this point. Our timing has been pretty good, so no idea why we aren't getting pregnant. For this cycle, I started my third cycle of Letrozole/Femara. I did green tea again, various vitamins: B6, B12, C, D, prenatal, mucinex. I tried to do temping and kept forgetting. Although I'm temping late, I started again this morning. Mainly to just get into the habit of it. I have been seeing an acupuncturist weekly to try to help my stress levels.
Plan for this cycle: Currently just waiting to test and symptom spotting like crazy. I was woozy yesterday; although, that could have been from painting. Although, I've never gotten like that before. Felt a little cramping this morning (I'm 5DPO) and currently have a headache. I am trying to cut out sugars, liquor and grains, so that might be contributing to the headache.
What are you looking forward to in 2015? Hoping to either get answers to why we aren't getting pregnant or even better, getting pregnant. I also want to focus more on myself and my family..

Cycle number/months TTC: 21
CD: 28
POAS date (if any): Trying not to test early this month, so waiting on AF right now
Backstory: Conceived DS on our 3rd month; delivery complications (pre-e, PPROM, DS born at 33w5d, post partum hemmorhaging); TTC #2 for almost 2 years now; my HSG was clear, DH has to go back for repeat SA, but shouldn't be an issue (he has 3 children, including our one together).
Plan for this cycle: HSG on CD12, positive OPK on CD 18 (late for me), BD O, O-1 through 4 and 6-7. AF is due any day now. DH will have a repeat SA if AF shows, and I will have repeat CD3 blood work with the addition of a vaginal ultrasound on CD3 to check follicles. Once those are done, we re-convene with the RE to formulate a plan. I'm exhausted and nauseated and my breasts are really tender, but I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up again this month. I'm also crampy this afternoon, so AF may be imminent.
What are you looking forward to in 2015? If AF shows, I'm re-joining the gym that got me in the best shape of my adult life in 2007. I love the classes / instructors there. We're working on saving $ and getting out of DH's divorce debt once and for all so we can hopefully buy our dream house in a year or two. DS turns THREE next month, which I can't believe! There is the potential for so many good things this year!

@Bea: congrats on the new job!
We are not TTC this month - we are going on vacation in February and if I were to get ku I would be 7 weeks, and not sure how morning sickness will hit me! But I did schedule my HSG for next Tuesday! Good luck everyone

Cycle number/months TTC: 11th month post-MC
CD: 27
POAS date (if any): Jan. 9
Backstory: found out a year ago last night that I was KU. We weren't trying, so it was a surprise, but was welcome. I MCed at about 6 weeks at the end of January. We've been TTC since. Used OPKs and chart BBT. I've been on provera during LP last three months.
Plan for this cycle: Well, cross my fingers for the rest of this week! After that, for the next cycle, I want to try to convince myself to sort of take it easy. Then in February I'll be talking to my OBGYN about what my next steps should be.
What are you looking forward to in 2015? A lot of change. Hopefully DH and I get our kitchen redone soon so we can list our house and move somewhere bigger. I'll finish grad school in May. And there's some reorganizing going on at work that I have my fingers crossed will work out in my favor. And I wouldn't mind having a baby thrown in there too!

I love that quote! I'm not joining this month as I am still pregnant and waiting to miscarry. And I think we will take a month off after this. But I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone luck. Hopefully when I come back in a couple of months none of you will still be on this board!

Cycle number/months TTC: 22 months TTC
CD: 7
POAS date (if any): n/a this month
Backstory: Off BCP February 2013, started TTC March 2013, had one "regular" cycle and then went 90+ days without a period. Was put on Provera and with consequent irregular cycles, was diagnosed with PCOS in November 2013. Have taken clomid 5 months, started Metformin in May 2014, did 2 IUIs, and have been doing acupuncture for about 3 months.
Plan for this cycle: HSG is scheduled for next Monday, CD 14. I'm not on any meds this cycle, so I'm not sure when or if I'll ovulate, but last cycle was unmedicated and I still ovulated on CD 19. So fingers crossed we still have a chance, but we will be discussing IVF with my RE at the HSG appt because that is our next step if we do not conceive this month (which I am not counting on)
What are you looking forward to in 2015? I start grad school in two weeks, so I'm looking forward to more education and hopefully a special education teaching job next fall! I am also looking forward to a trip to Georgia in April And of course, I am most looking forward to pregnancy...because it just HAS to happen this year!

@MrsKRB: Have fun on vacation...and I can't wait to touch base with you next week so can check in with each other on how our HSGs went. I'll try to check in after mine on Monday so I can give you some feedback on what to expect.

I have great news ladies - I won't be joining you this month, because I got a BFP on Sunday!
Long story short, my obgyn put me on provera+metformin since I was in the middle of an 80+ day cycle (after doing a blood test to confirm that I definitely wasn't KU.) AF still hadn't arrived by 3 weeks after the end of the provera course, so she scheduled an ultrasound to check for new cysts after the holidays. I got back from visiting family on Sunday (ultrasound scheduled for Monday morning) and I took a test on a whim because I was feeling nauseated (from the metformin, I thought, but I'd had to have DH pull over on the turnpike so I could puke, and it didn't usually affect me that badly.)
Anyway, that test was positive, my ultrasound turned into another blood test to confirm, and I just got my numbers back - 6 weeks prego! Here's hoping this little one decides to stick around!

@NorthStar: @MrsKRB: Thanks, ladies - it definitely is crazy!! We'd been trying for about a year now, but with my wonky cycles, it was probably only around 8 actual cycles? It's so ridiculous - all those months of verrrry carefully timed BDing, and it happens when we were just waiting for AF to show and give us another chance!

@mrs bunchy: the last from our MC group? There's still a few of us there (unfortunately). But RIGHT after we created a facebook group more than half got KU so that kind of died out!

@NorthStar: Thank you! Thank you! I am hoping you're right! I need to temp. It's just so annoying. We are close in test dates and in the same cycle #--at least we are in it together?! haha Hoping this is it for us!
@ballerinabee: how are you? Has AF stayed away? Sounds like you have great goals for 2015!!
@MrsKRB: Thank you so much! Hope you have a restful and stress-free month off ttc. Good luck with your HSG!!!
@MaryM: so sorry. hoping your get your rainbow baby soon! Sounds like 2015 will be a great year for you! Hope it all works out in your favor!
@travellingbee: prayers for you, friend. will miss you but hope you take great care of yourself.
@Honeygold89: Thank you so much! Good luck with your pregnancy!
@mrs bunchy: how was your hysteroscopy? how are you feeling? I have so much respect for women who have been in this as long as you have. Praying for you and hope you get your baby soon
@sarahnicole218: FX the HSG does it for you!!! Congrats on grad school!! That's awesome! and thank you!
@raspberries: Oh. My. Goodness!!!!!!!!!!! I am so stinkin' excited for you!!!!!! That is just the best news!! Wishing you a perfect, smooth, and uneventful pregnancy! Will definitely be stalking your pregnancy on the august board
@MrsMccarthy: thank you! hope you're doing well and pregnancy is going smoothly!

@Bea: I know! I noticed that too! I'll probably end up testing on the 13th, so hopefully, we both get BFPs!! I've tempted the last three days, which is better than I've done recently. I'll only get temps for the last 1/2 of my cycle, but figured that it's better than nothing.
Any symptoms for you yet? I felt quite a few twinges and cramping on Monday/Tuesday (which were 5 and 6 DPO), so that made me hopeful My progesterone was also at 23 Monday, so the acupuncture is definitely helping on that side of things!
kiwi / 578 posts
@NorthStar: I hope so!!! Temping the last half is better than nothing. You gotta start sometime!
Symptoms? Nothing that I haven't had before. breasts are a little tender but usually are, increased CM but it's been that way this cycle since taking clomid. It's really going to be hard if Clomid extends my cycle (but hope it does) and I get my hopes up. BUT hoping it's just a BFP instead

@Bea: I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks for asking!! So- no septum was found; guess I was just born with a big ol arcuate utetus. The tissue inside the uterus looked healthy, and a small polyp was removed. I was able to stop the birth control yesterday; so now just waiting for AF. We will have a follow up with the RE in 1-2 weeks to discuss next steps. May just be a wait and see game. All of our testing has been 100% normal- so we may have just been dealt 3 shitty hands....

@MrsKRB: Hope your vacation next month is relaxing & wonderful and that your HSG next week goes well! Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones who gets a BFP after the dye clears the pipes, so to speak!
@MaryM: I'm sorry for your loss, and for the long drawn out TTC that's followed. Wishing you this month, with work, school, and the kitchen remodel. You've got a lot on your plate!
@travellingbee: I'm so sorry you're having to go through this again and that it's taking so long. Sending long distance hugs!
@mrs bunchy: hooray for no septum and everything looking good! Maybe this is the kick in the pants (ha) your uterus needed to get with the program My fingers are crossed for you!
@sarahnicole218: Hope your HSG goes well and that it clears the way for a BFP! Congrats on starting grad school!
@raspberries: Holy cow!! HOOOOOORAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!! So very excited for you! What wonderful, wonderful news! Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy!
@Bea: Still no AF. I have a good amount of CM, so I keep thinking she's here, but so far so good! I've been really nauseated the last day or two, and yesterday and today, my lower belly feels "full" - like my uterus / lower abdomen is a water balloon and not flexible, and crampy / twingey if that makes sense. I'm probably just inventing these symptoms in my head, so I'm trying so hard not to overanalyze. C threw up early this morning, so maybe my nausea is related to eating something bad or a bug and not being KU. It's so hard not to drive ourselves crazy with symptom spotting / overanalyzing, isn't it?? Trying to hold out and test on Friday, but I really want to test now!! Ha. If I didn't O until CD19, I would only be 11dpo today, so trying to hold out. <evil voice in my head says I got my BFP with C at 9dpo>
pomelo / 5129 posts
@ballerinabee: I'm right there with you with the weird feelings in the general uterus area.
I'm out of tests so I've been trying to hold off until tomorrow to buy more so I won't test before Friday (14dpo). I've also been constipated, which could either be why my stomach feels off, or it could be an added symptom. Someone needs to create a dang window...
persimmon / 1259 posts
@raspberries: Holy cow, what a wonderful suprise! Congratulations!
apricot / 452 posts
@MaryM: I had forgotten about constipated, yes, that too. And decreased appetite + a little heartburn and having to pee constantly and feeling like I could fall asleep at my desk all day. Then again, it could all be in my head. I'm with you on wanting a window to see what's going on in there!
I have 1 FRER and 2 CB digis, so it's hard to tell myself no. I've been so sure of my symptoms at least 3 times in the past 12 months that I've been really crushed when AF showed, so I'm trying so hard this month not to test until FF says to (Fri).
I feel a bit like a crazy woman.
pomelo / 5129 posts
@ballerinabee: You can also add insomnia to my list. I go from being SO SURE I'm KU one day, to totally talking myself out of it the next.
It's my last month on Progesterone so I think I'm trying to throw all my hope into it before having to move on to other interventions, but the Progesterone is also causing all kinds of "symptoms" so I'm trying not to allow myself too much hope.
I'll wait until Friday morning if you do!
apricot / 452 posts
@MaryM: Deal! But if you cave, tell me so I can (tee hee). And YES! That's exactly what's making me feel crazy - the being SO sure I am KU one second and then totally sure AF has arrived the next...
One of my good friends had several MC and was was put on progesterone for a few months which didn't help. She decided to take a month off from interventions before trying clomid / IUI, and ended up getting pregnant during the "off" month and now has a 2 year old. Sometimes I wonder if it's really the interventions that help, or if it's all just random chance in the end.
Is it Friday yet?
pomelo / 5129 posts
Well, I don't see my doctor until February, so this next cycle will be an "off" one for me. I'm on the fence about OPKs. I skipped them this month since I was at my mom's and DH was home. I kind of want another cycle where I'm not compulsive about anything but temping (because my doctors refer to my charts)...but I also don't know if I can give up all that control

@ballerinabee: thank you! I hope you're symptoms are the real deal!

Cycle number/months TTC: Cycle 10
CD: 11
POAS date (if any): 1/25
Backstory: Been trying since April, charting and using OPKs and beautiful timing, but no luck.
Plan for this cycle: I just started acupuncture yesterday and have some chinese herbs I'll be starting to aid ovulation and regulate my hormones. DH is going for a SA.
What are you looking forward to in 2015? Getting KU and slowly doing some home improvements to our new place. OH and doing a headstand in yoga!

@MaryM: I know what you mean! I took off temping and opks for a couple months over the summer and it was nice. Go with whatever your gut tells you
@YogiRunner: Hope this is your cycle! And I pray that 2015 is a year we all get KU! Headstand in yoga?! In awe of you.
