My kid apparently always gets sick the Friday of memorial day weekend. Last year we missed my in laws giant block party because first she got sick, and then I got sick from being puked all over.
This year Friday afternoon she spiked a fever. We were already missing the party due to my procedure on Tuesday but I now have the added worry of getting her bug

DD always saves her really bad toilet accidents for the minute I get home from work. I'll walk in, and the very first thing I do is hose her down and wash the clothes. It really sets the tone for the evening I guess it's revenge for DS doing the same thing to DH when he was a baby!

There’s a nasty stomach bug going around town. My 2 year old has had it for several days and now my poor 4.5 year old just woke up with bad diarrhea. Her very last day of preschool is tomorrow and there is no way she will be better by then to go. We are both so sad she’s going to miss her last day of school. I feel terrible for her.

@MamaBear87: Anytime I have a day off or a massage/pedicure scheduled, one of my kids gets sick. It is unreal how many times I've had to cancel because of them getting sick. I know they can't help it...just seriously impeccable timing!

DS1 also has some great timing where we're in a store and at the furthest possible point from the bathroom, and announces that he has to go. It doesn't matter if I have a cart full of groceries or my hands full of clothes/products. Always the furthest point of the store.

@MrsBucky: I wrote to the director this morning apologizing for the accident and explaining his progress. I told the director that DS will be diaper free until Monday and asked the criteria I should use to determine if he should be in underwear or diapers when he starts on Monday.

Mine got sent home on the last day of preschool for vomiting...awesome way to start summer vacation!

We just started three weeks of non refundable private swim lessons and DD just had crazy loose stool. Can’t swim for two weeks after diarrhea, right? Ugh.

@Corduroy: what? Two weeks after diarrhea? I never heard of that before (although I’m not saying you are wrong). I was kind of thinking at least 24 hours after the last loose stool plus I always wait for the first regular solid poop. That totally sucks either way.

My 4.5 year old seemed ok yesterday but has upset stomach again today and is probably going to miss her gymnastics show tonight. Seriously, this is like the worst week for this. And I already paid $45 for the stupid show leotard too.
