I have had a lot of discharge during pregnancy - but the past day or so I cannot tell if it's watery discharge or fluid. I decided to call the nurse to ask, and she told me that aside from sending me to the hospital, I could come in for a swab.

she goes, "I'll double book you with Dr. X at 4:15, but he's not going to be happy." and so I was like, "well I don't have to come in if there's a way to know if it's just normal discharge?" and she goes, "no, you should come in to make sure."

but now I feel so uncomfortable and awkward! You just told me the OB is going to be ticked at being double booked, so why did you do it? especially if I'm just being stupid and it's watery discharge or god forbid pee and I don't know it.

Did anyone leak fluid and know for sure the difference? Oy..
