My 4 month LO will lift her legs straight in the air and slam them down on her bassinet mattres in the middle of the night. She sleeps in the bassinet attachment of her Pack and play in our room. DH is convinced this is extremely odd and something is wrong. I'm not so sure it isn't pretty common and she's half asleep. None the less it makes the loudest sound and we are up just listening in the middle of the night when shes already up every hour to hour and a half. Anyone else have this?

My LO does this and he's 15 months old. He's done it for as long as I can remember. I'm always shocked at how loud it is!

it's extremely common. it starts around 4 months when they're trying to master rolling over. both charlie and olive did it!

My LO does it whenever she's swaddled. It never even occurred to me that it wasn't totally normal.

YES!!!!!! it was sooooo loud and hilarious and I thought maybe something was the matter too, at first. He kind of stopped doing it around 6 months on his own.

LO did that when she was swaddled. She hasn't done it in a long time now that she's a tummy sleeper.

Both of my boys did it. It is super loud! Sometimes I can hear it downstairs!

Glad to hear its common! When she started doing it maybe a month ago we were shocked how loud it was! No sleep for us through it! I will reassure DH
