I just got my BFP and the biggest thing that is concerning me right now, besides just hoping for a sticky baby, is my weight. I've been overweight my entire adult life and had planned to lose more before I got pregnant. The last time I spoke to my doc about it I told her my goal was 50 lbs and she said "that's a good idea."
Well I've only dropped about 15 and here I am. I didn't get serious about it, honestly, until 2 months ago and in that time I've lost 12 lbs through eating healthier food and starting a workout routine. My doc did say I was good to keep exercising and (obviously!) eating healthy during pregnancy.
I guess my question is... has anyone else been in the process of losing weight when they got pregnant and continued their progress through pregnancy? Obviously I understand I will gain pregnancy weight. But it seems like if I'm being healthy I should be losing fat while gaining baby, right? Or am I just totally crazy to think I'm going to have any progress on my healthy goals in the next year?
