Has anyone purchased or worn one of these? My OB has suggested it to me because of my awful groin pain and ligament pain. I'm just wondering if it was worth it?

I'm beginning to think I might need one of these. I have to walk quite slow and careful now, the impact of each step seems to give me pains under my bump, and I feel quite achy most of the time- might ask doc.

I had one to help with my pelvic pain, and to support my belly when jogging. I loved it - $15 on Amazon!

YES!!! It helps to alleviate pressure off your pelvis. I started wearing mine at 34 weeks. One of my best pregnancy purchases ever!

My Dr. suggested I get one of these too. I have awful pelvic pain whenever I put any weight on my right leg. I was going to go check some out at the Motherhood store this weekend.

My doc also suggested this, but I haven't purchased one because my ligaments only hurt if LO is kicking them (yeah, he's feet down and I'm almost 37 weeks
) or if the doctor pushes on them when he's feeling my belly. Otherwise, when I'm just walking around or working it doesn't hurt, so I don't really think I need one.

@BabyBoecksMom: Do you know which brand you bought? I'm having a lot of pelvic and hip pain, and $15 is a great price!!

This is a great thread - I am going to buy one this weekend. My chiropracter recommended one from Motherhood. I am having back, hip and butt (sorry TMI) problems. He wanted me to get one with support below and above the belly without a shoulder strap because that would put more pressure on my spine.

I was thinking about it but then hesitated since my belly is relatively small, but I have so much pressure in the pelvic area.. I only have 5 weeks and 2 days to go to my due date so I think I will survive without it
