I don't know if it is just my hormones because I am normally not a jealous person, but lately I have noticed a inkling of jealousy toward other moms-to-be! Whether it be that their booty has stayed the same size, the stroller they hae gotten that we could never afford, ect! This is such an uncommon feeling for me, I feel like I'm not being grateful for what I do have! Anyone else have slight jealousy?

I think this is just the beginning! I have felt it too slightly...like a competition. I don't think it'll get ANY better down the road when the kiddos do arrive. Us moms will be competing to see whose kid is in the spelling bee, or honor roll, or whose kid can play the violin and all that jazz. I hope we're not like that! But then again I think it comes with the territory of being a mother to some extent.
My mom was never jealous of that stuff...she was jealous of the 40yr old moms who didn't have wrinkles yet. So, it could be anything! -

I went to a baby shower yesterday and was totally jealous. I am so happy for my friend, but I couldn't help it!

Jealousy is such a normal feeling. There's so much awesome baby things, you just want it all and it sucks that you can't have it all. But that's life.
