I am 35 weeks pregnant this Saturday and the past two evening have been extremely painful! Baby is super active after dinner and I have had several occasions where I actually yelp in pain at her movement! Wondering if this is just a case of a low lying 2nd baby? I never had this issue with my first! I have an OB appt this weekend and will mention it then I'm just surprised!

Yup. My OB said it's because second time moms have looser muscles and a looser pelvic floor, so it comes with the territory.
I had a lot of pelvic pain. A support belt helped. So did Tylenol, which I tried not to take but sometimes the pain was simply too much.
I waddled a LOT.

Yep. I describe it to DH like I'm being stabbed with a fork all over my hips. It's painful, but normal from what I'm told.

I'm only 26 weeks, but I've definitely noticed a LOT more pelvic pain this time around than last time. I can no longer sit up straight because just doing that hurts.

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! I remember being uncomfortable towards the end last time but have been surprised at the painful kicks and movement on my cervix!

Yep, it was certainly worse the second time! The third time has been even worse in terms of pelvic pain.

oh yes!!! So much worse the second time. My OB was extremely kind about it because the pain was so severe I was worried about the baby, and she ordered several ultrasounds to check on her. So I got to see baby a whole lot more in the last month or so. I had to stop working! I was in agony every single day!

I'm 29 weeks with #2 and the pain in the left side of my pelvic bone is horrible. I could barely make it from the bedroom to the bathroom this morning. It's like the actual bone is one giant, painful bruise. Ugh. I hope you get some relief soon.

I'm only 21 weeks (this sat anyway) and I've had a TON of hip and back pain with this pregnancy..since around 12 weeks. My OB said it's normal with second+ pregnancies, ugh!

It was definitely more uncomfortable the second time around. My back hurt and I felt like I had to hold up my belly at the end.
