I commented on your blog, but just wanted to say again how over the moon happy I am for you Jag! I'm always thrilled when the 6months+ girls get K.U.!

Thanks ladies.
@highwire: I'm nervous today. Sticks have still gotten fainter and just terrified! But still crossing fingers this baby will stick around.

@jaguar: Aw don't be nervous! Any way you can quit testing for now? I know the answer is probably no LOL.

@highwire: Since my clinics are being assholes about beta tests, I feel like its all I have. Hence the worry!

@Jag, mine got lighter too... try not to worry too much (so much easier said than done, I know)

@jaguar: Mine got lighter too! I remember a frantic PM to Septca asking her to talk me down because I was sure that it was a bad sign. 7 months later and little one is still here! I’ll be thinking positive thoughts for you

@Running Elley: I'm trying not to panic. It's just I read that clearblue digitals are supposed to show 2-3 weeks when hCG is over 200. I'm 16dpo today. Doesn't <200 seem low for that?

@jaguar: Hmmm I never used the tests that said any certain number of weeks so I don’t have personal experience as reference but let’s see….. you got your first positive at 5 days past transfer right? So that would be 6 days ago. And HCG is supposed to double every 2 days so it would have had the chance to double 3 times since then. Your first BFP looked similar to one that I’ve gotten before and I believe that at the point I had a wondfo that looked like that my HCG measured around 20. So even if yours was 25 when you got that first positive and it doubled 3 times that would put you right around or right below 200. Obviously only a beta will be able to really tell but I think your tests have looked good so far!!

@Running Elley: Ok. That makes sense. I just hate that getting freaking bloodwork done is so difficult. I had it every other day during the IVF stuff, but now that I'm showing positives, nobody wants to deal with me. Sad face.

@jaguar: Obviously my reply was sooooooo scientific lol. Being in limbo waiting to just know SOMETHING is really hard!! Did they give you any kind of timeline for results?

@Running Elley: Hopefully this afternoon. I'll be peeved if I don't hear then.
Good news from my ivf clinic - they rang back & are going to do a beta tomorrow because I'm a nervous wreck. Phew!

@jaguar: CONGRATS!!!!! I am so excited for you! I know you are worried, and as a former POAS/Line Darkness/OCD'er, I just wanted to pipe up that you can't go by line darkness. Everyone's hcg increases differently, and the sensitivity of the same brand test can vary from test to test, pack to pack etc. When I read millions of google pages on it, I remember one lady saying her doctor told her, "Pregnancy tests don't measure HCG. They are not designed to interpret numbers. They only detect the presence of hcg." That has always stuck with me and I really believed it with this pregnancy as my lines barely got any darker in the first couple of days and I was convinced it was a 3rd chemical.
I am so glad you'll be getting a beta tomorrow! I hope your numbers are fantastic!
Congrats again and I'm so happy to see you on here!

@jholler25: I have missed you so much! How's sweet baby Holler doing?
Thankyou! You're doing wonders to reassure me. I'm a pro at TTC but a really terrible early preggo.

@jaguar: I have totally been stalking you on WB:) When you went MIA that day on WB and didn't report anything about poas, just went radio silent - I was like, "Hmmmmm....VERY suspicious that Jag is KU!" Baby Holler is lovely, thank you for asking:) She'll be cooking for 6 months on Friday!
I felt the same way - a pro at TTC and totally clueless about pregnancy! I had to quit testing on line tests bc I was so worried about the lightness. When I retested later, I would only use digital, and then I obsessed over if it took longer sometimes to pop up:( I got really freaked out because the first time it only took like 30 seconds, and then a few days later I swear it took a full minute. And I panicked. But even the same brand tests can be different sensitivities. One frer might have a sensitivity of 6.5. Another one might be 12.5, etc., etc. I researched this A. LOT. I'm totally embarassed to admit!

@jholler25: haha - this sounds like I'm following in your footsteps! I hope I am!
