So I saw one of our midwives this morning and she said this is totally normal and not of any concern, but I was just curious about other people's experiences. I didn't have any morning sickness per se in the first tri, but I would get nauseous if I ate too much. Then the second tri came around and I became a human garbage disposal.
Now I'm at 23 weeks and last night I went out to eat with some friends and ate way too much bread and half a pasta entree and I got home and seriously almost threw up. I was so queasy and uncomfortable. I had a BM before bed, then woke up at 2 a.m. still feeling awful and had another BM, then ANOTHER this morning at 6 (sorry if that's TMI)! I normally have like 1 every 24 hours. And today I'm still kinda nauseous, and not as ravenous as normal. I just had a handful of pretzel and cheese snacks and I kinda feel like barfing.
Could be a bug (my hubby was sick this past weekend so maybe it's just hitting me milder), but I wondered how many of you got nausea as you started getting bigger? Midwife said it's common due to the uterus pushing up on the stomach, and could be reflux also.
