I've had some crazy vivid dreams while pregnant, but for the last few weeks I keep having this recurring dream that I'm pregnant and the baby's father is my ex-fiance from college. I go through the dream dealing with him making it clear he wants nothing to do with us or being about to have the baby and not telling him until the end because I know I'm going to be a single parent. WTH! We broke up 10 years ago!
Did you have any nightmares towards the end that really stood out for you?

I have not had as many nightmares in my third trimester, thankfully. I DID have quite a few really bad, vivid ones during my second trimester. I woke up on the verge of tears on more than one occasion and once DH woke me because I was crying out in my sleep. I don't remember what the dreams are now, but I hope they don't come back!

@spaniellove: I had the same dream all the time! I was always horrified in my dream that I was with the ex and then so relieved to wake up and see my husband ... but it boggled my mind that someone I broke up with 13 years ago was reappearing in my dreams. Why???

I had some awful, awful nightmares during third trimester. Like, bloody, violent, seeing family members close to me dead, kinda nightmares that left me shaken and upset for days (never had anything like that pre-pregnancy). I'm so glad those stopped! Hope yours will pass soon, too!

I've had nightmares throughout my pregnancy (currently 2nd tri). Usually really scary things like someone violent trying to break in our house or being attacked my a fox. They are so real that I usually wake up upset/confused. Thankfully I am not remembering my dreams too often.

I have had vivid dreams all through my pregnancies. They're almost always about bugs and wake me up in a panic.
The last few nights I've been seeing huge, huuuge bugs on our ceiling. I wake up screaming and realize it was a dream.
It feels so real though!

Last night I dreamt that I was pulled into a divorce hearing between my parents (who got divorced when I was a baby) and I had to relive my stepmom abusing me, and also see my mom's inability to parent because of everything she was going through, and on top of it all she was sick and dying (she died a few years ago). All these people with cameras came in and I busted out of there and ran away from my family permanently.
