I'm 35 weeks pregnant. My app this week says that I've probably gained 25-35lbs at this point, and I shouldn't gain any more.
I always thought the last few weeks I'd put on a pound a week or so... did you gain any in the final weeks?

I gained right up until week 40, but at a slower pace because it was harder to eat a lot without feeling uncomfortable. I think I probably gained 2-3 lbs the last few weeks.

I always thought people gained a pound or so a week at the end too! Although I have been at about the same weight for several weeks now (35+2) so maybe the whole not being able to eat a lot right now is keeping my weight gain down now. I have gained in the range your app listed, so maybe it will stick around that number.

I've gained about 60 pounds so far this pregnancy. A LOT. But since 35 weeks I bounce back between 188 and 187. Never gained any more.

I ended up losing a little weight. Probably due to the raging heartburn and decreased stomach capacity plus it was summer and I don't eat as much in the heat anyways. But I gained almost all my weight in the second trimester.

@MapleMoose: same for me! I actually lost and then they told me to stop losing so I was able to hold her steady.
@Mrs. Champagne: I wouldn't worry too much either way!

Yep, I lost weight in the last few weeks! I put on the bulk of my weight in first and second trim. DS was still 8.5 lbs!

I gained only my last week which was me retaining water, but I was so full I ate very small meals because I was so uncomfortable and felt very full.

I hardly gained anything and then went into labor at week 38, so the weight gain wasn't as catastrophic as I'd feared. I think it all depends on swelling. Some people really puff up at the end, but it's all water.

My doctor said it's totally normal for your weight to remain the same or even go down a little in the final weeks. One reason is water retention could have pushed your weight up in earlier weeks and then can fluctuate a lot afterwards. Then for reasons the other bees mentioned already.
