What do you do to motivate when you're feeling blah?

I usually drink boatloads of coffee for a caffeine boost and that usually helps me get out of my funk. I can't do that now because I'm pregs.

I usually let myself feel blah for a bit then I start tackling the small stuff I need to get done first. eating and drinking yumm stuff helps too!

Don't ask me. I don't have any meetings today so I'm sitting at home finishing my blog post on healthy toddler eating habits. I should definitely go into the office soon!

I usually just let myself waste some time for a bit and then the pressure to actually do some work subsides and I feel better. THEN, I might have some coffee and start doing something productive.

I like to write out a to-do list, and cross things off as I go.

I'm also a fan of making a list and crossing things off. I like testing myself and seeing how quickly I can complete my list. It motivates me to get up and get it done. I also will take a nap sometimes if I am able.

Make a list and tell myself I can have a reward if I get ___ number of things done on that list. Of course..this only works when I don't add easy fluff things to the list just to reach the reward.

I am feeling the same way, dang Monday's after a weekend in the sun! I try to drink lots of ice water, and I have to take short breaks otherwise I start zoning out.

This time of the month, my workload is pretty light and none of the things I have to do have to be done immediately, so I always have a hard time staying on task, but if I make a list, I usually am good at working through that list before I start slacking.
