..and I'm terrified! I'm scared that the baby has died and I didn't know it. I'm trying to stay calm and relaxed but after a previous loss, I'm just plain terrified.

Good luck! I used to feel the same way before every appointment too...I didn't really get confident until our anatomy scan at 19 weeks! But you have no reason to believe anything is wrong so try to relax and enjoy the ultrasound - it's a fun one!

Good luck, and I'm sure everything is fine! I really enjoyed the NT scan because the baby was so much more developed, and you could watch it wavings its little hands and feet around, and it looked so much more like a tiny person and not a chubby gummi bear! Hope yours goes well (I'm sure it will)

Good luck! Oh I feel your pain. When we had ours, I was so worried the tech would find something and there would be an awkward silence while she called in the doc. I'm sure it will go GREAT! Please update us afterwards!

Thanks, ladies! Sorry for not updating sooner.
The scan was a lot of fun. I was so nervous but as soon as the tech found the baby, we could instantly see it was moving around and healthy and happy inside there
The heart rate was strong at 176bpm and the NT scan found a .9mm thickness. The tech said that anything under 3mm is normal.
So, my worries were for naught and now we feel like we can really relax and enjoy this pregnancy!!

@ALittleP: hooray! so glad you got to see your lo! i love seeing them on ultrasounds but the 12, 16, 20 week detailed ones are especially cool.
