@LindsayinNY: I was thinking of you when I posted! I'll report back and maybe there will be a spring one that would work for you. I'm justifying the expense by saying I will get a Beco carrier out of it at the very least

I got a Couples Super Pass that totaled around $195 and included a $130 Beco Gemini carrier in addition to the gift bag filled with samples, bottles, onesies, diapers, bibs, formula, swaddle blankets, body lotions, nursing pads, you name it. The ticket also gets you a Bingo card, which gets you a random prize (of like 5 things) when you complete it. My prize was a Nuva Sena travel cot (http://www.giggle.com/nuna-sena-travel-cot/SEN56F.html).
Then you enter raffles and get more samples and giveaways at every vendor booth -- there are dozens and dozens.
I won this by spinning a prize wheel at the Tommee Tippee booth:

Even with a $50 Uber ride back to NJ, it was totally worth it. I also thought it was well-organized and not overcrowded, and they had good food too! I mean, you can't not feed hundreds of pregnant women from 6-9pm… so that was smart of them! I'm sure I'm on 5000 mailing lists now, but that seems to come with the territory If I win any more raffles I will let you know!

@loopedd: You got really lucky! I didn't win anything at the raffles although maybe I'll get something later. My Bingo prize was a skip hop diaper bag, so between that and the carrier alone it covered the price of the ticket. My husband was sad we didn't get something bigger though.

@loopedd: That's awesome! I was there, too, and I was really impressed with the gift bag. I'm super jealous of your good luck with the raffles and the bingo prize! I wound up with a Baby Bullet system for the bingo card. It was totally worth it anyway - and I love the Beco carrier we got with the Super Pass. (And the $30 Uber credit for the ride home!)

@LindsayInNY: oh I'm so glad you're getting the chance to go! I haven't - at 5 weeks, LO is barely 8lbs so I've been wearing him in the Boba wrap when I need my hands free. But both DH and I have tried the Beco and it seems comfy - it will definitely be our go-to when LO's a little bigger and we leave the house more (plus DH refuses to try the wrap!).

@Spinny: Hi! Just wanted to comment that my DH was out of town and couldn't come when I went, so I brought a girlfriend. Her help was invaluable for carrying things, especially when you leave with a giant gift bag! She's not preggo but she actually had a really good time

@Spinny: I am! Surprisingly he was game with wanting to join. Although I'm sure he's going to be antsy at it and not want to stick around and see/do everything. But I'll also be 36 weeks pregnant so who knows if I'll want to either!

@loopedd: @LindsayInNY: To be honest I haven't even asked him if he'd like to go, but I just don't see it. I'll be 32 weeks so I definitely will need some help carrying everything, and I think my sister will definitely enjoy it, even as a single gal.

@LindsayInNY: I bought my ticket last night with an hour to spare! And surprise, surprise, dh actually said he would want to go. Bonus, he's going to drive us in.....no schlepping in on the train! I'm so excited to go now!
