about being pregnant....
NOT HAVING TO STICK IN MY STOMACH.
Egh, 2 months PP and we all know the stomach is far from being what it used to be, so I find myself sucking it in all the time.

YES.
I had to buy a tankini swim top yesterday because a) my giant bubbies from breastfeeding won't fit in my old ones and b) I refuse to let the jello mold that was once an attractive stomach let hang out for the world to see.
Yet I'm still sitting here on my a$$ not doing anything about it and I'm cleared to do anything I did pre-pregnancy since it's been 7 weeks

@babyjmama: You have time! I got the okay from the doc last week. So it's time to get crackin'. I've been doing great on the weigh loss but not so much on the toning portion.

That is what I'm just learning to appreciate about being preg! I only just got to where I don't have the ability to suck it in, and the realization that I don't have to worry about how my stomach looks was very....freeing. I wore a bikini in the pool with DH on Fri and it was so weird not worrying about if I looked gross in the tummy-ha!

Oh gosh yes. I realise that I didn't fully appreciate how liberating it was at the time!

I wear flowy tops so I don't have to worry about it as much.

HAHA. One of the things I love about being pregnant is having an excuse for being round

@chopsuey119: I loved being pregnant for that reason. I've always had a Tummy so not having to worry about it for 6 months were the best 6 months (I should say 12 - 2 pregnancies) of my life!!!!

LOL. I just carry the baby as my excuse. I still am pretty big in the tummy and plan to get it back to normal by 6-7 months from now (now 2months pp)... But right now I'm more happy in bikini than I was with my old 25" inch waist. I kid you not.

Haha Yes!! I tried on a bunch of dresses in my closet yesterday and found a total of 1 I could wear without worrying about sucking in.

@mediagirl: Egh! No fun! I'm actually jealous you can wear dresses, unless they are strapless I can't becasue I'm breastfeeding.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: Yes you can! I wear button down dresses, strapless dresses, and those wrap or faux wrap dresses (with a cami secret to hide the major cleavage).

@Mrs. Sunglasses: Oh yes. I'm just pumping, so I can. But....nothing fits. The one I wore to church, I was totally busting out of on top. I guess that's better than what it was before when I had to wear a safety pin to keep the top together, but still...

@pastemoo: Ya i don't have any in those category. I have a few v-necklines but that are halters. So I have to wear a bra. and it doesn't work.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: Bummer. I bought some for cheap at 35 weeks pregnant or so when nothing fit anymore. They were like $14 each and look kind of like: http://www.jeanswarehousehawaii.com/images/dress/dress4.jpg

SAME HERE. I've had a tummy for the past year, and it was so nice to finally be showing off my tummy!!! But now... (sighs)
I kinda miss the kicking too - it was pretty magical.

Hahaha...I always said that my stomach was the hardest it's ever been when I was pregnant! Oh how I loved it.

Did you guys wear bikinis during pregnancy or preferred a 1 piece? I am trying to convince DH to take me somewhere tropical for our babymoon in October, and I'm debating if I should flaunt the bump in a bikini (since I was always self-conscious about my belly pre-baby).

@Sammyfab: hahah hardest ever! ditto!!!
@cokiezombie: Until my stretchmarks showed (at 37 weeks) I wore a bikini. The only time in my life I wasn't self conscience. Flaunt it girl! because after, you might not be able to . I've adopted the one piece!
