If I recall correctly, we usually spend $30-50 on preschool pics. Once we spent around $80, but the pics were really adorable. They got us good because all the backgrounds were cute so we wanted prints of each kind (they did classic school backgrounds and winter/Christmas backgrounds that time).

Oh and our preschool in NYC used like three different companies over the past few years and all of them included the class pic for free with any order. I always love the class pictures!

Our daycare does them twice a year - once in spring and once in fall. When usually buy 8 wallets and 2 4x6s for around $40 or so. The quality is great for whomever my daycare uses with a nice backdrop. They take two different poses and you can pick which one you want.

Ours were today too! They use a local photog who I think is very good but a bit overpriced. Last spring (she was 6 months) we bought one pose on cd for $30. We will see how these came out.

@regberadaisy - we had picture day this past Tuesday! I also expect mediocre pics at a hiked up price, but I know I will get some anyway.

Ours is in a few weeks. I'm not expecting great pics, but it's her first "school" picture so I'm really excited! Daycare has not sent around a price sheet yet, so I don't know how $$$ they will be, but we'll get a couple for us and all the grandparents.

@regberadaisy: They just put up a sign that we do have picture day! I think i did sign a release.
