    I was saved by Izze. It's a drink, a sparkling juice (no sugar or anything else, just 100% juice with sparkling water) I got at Whole Foods. I would sip it throughout the day and the combination of fizz and light flavor settled my stomach so much. I couldn't drink plain water, but getting dehydrated made me more nauseated. The Izze worked wonders.

    So, I tried the b6 and Unisom combo last night...I don't feel like crawling under my desk and crying! That's a win! I still feel wonky but it's totally manageable. I took Zofran this morning, too but I am sure I can attribute this to the Unisom since Zofran hasn't done much for me in the past.

    @simplyfelicity: I'm glad something helped!

    Funny story for you. I've been taking Diclegis (contains b6 and Unisom) every night since 7 weeks. I am 15 weeks now and I've been feeling much better, hardly taking Zofran during the day (none yesterday!)

    So last night I woke up at 4am and felt queasy after drinking a sip of water. I ran for the Zofran and I realized I had forgotten to take the Diclegis before bed (and my allergy meds and lexapro - oops!). I plan to keep taking it for a few more weeks just to be sure.

    I kept a bag of Sour Patch Kids in my purse and ate a few whenever I felt queasy. The combination of sour and sugar really helps settle my stomach. It wouldn't stop the full blown barfies, but it definitely took the edge off. Good luck!

    @macintosh: Oh no! I am definitely going to start setting an alarm. Sorry you are feeling so awful... you have been through the ringer!

    @simplyfelicity: Unisom/B6 works better for me than Zofran. I still feel nauseous even when taking it round the clock, but I can still function and I don't get sick too often... a handful of times each week vs. 5-7x per day.

    I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. It is such an awful feeling. The thing that helps me the most is sleep. The better I sleep, the less nauseous I feel. If I have a crappy night's sleep, I will be vomiting most of the next day, for sure. The next thing that helps me is eating frequent small meals. Also sour things...I like lemon Jolly Ranchers (Walgreens sells bags of lemon by itself), Lemon Heads, and Sour Patch kids, but only in moderation.

    Late to the party! Sorry you are going through this!

    Mine doesn't sound as bad as yours. I threw up all day for most of my pregnancy (both) and near the end it's just the mornings.

    What helped me was consistently eating. When I felt like I was about to throw up... I would pop a snack in my mouth and that would subside the want to throw up.

    When I was going through my GD course... as weird as it sounds some morning sickness troubles is usually cause by not eating enough. How illogical is that? Your body wants you to eat for the baby so to show you... it makes you throw up what is already in your body? So dumb!

    Anyways that's all I have for you. I hope yours doesn't last all pregnancy!! Good luck girl!

    @78h2o: What dosage and how often do you take the Unisom and b6? I am going to take it when I get home from work today just to see how I function during waking hours with it. I totally hear you about the sleep! I was having insomnia (which I never do) and would be so sick. Thank goodness the unisom helps with that!

    @Raindrop: Thank you! You are right, it's so contradictory! I am hoping this is a sign that the baby wants to stick around.

    @simplyfelicity: I've been taking more over time...I think my body is getting used to it and it isn't working as well (or I am getting sicker?). I'm now taking about 1/4 of a pill (6mg) in the morning and again around 3pm. Then 3/4 of a pill before bed (~20mg). A couple nights I have taken a whole pill (25mg). I take 25mg of B6 2-3x per day. Hope you feel better. I am now 12 weeks and crossing my fingers that I'll start feeling better soon. With my daughter, I felt a lot better around 14-15 weeks, I think, so hoping for the same!
