I am in the market for one before my son arrives in 8 (!) weeks! Help? Want something not too huge but cozy.

I have this set and love it. It's not that big, but big enough for you while holding a baby. Best part is that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I really didn't want a wooden glider. I have used it every day since he was born.http://www.wayfair.com/Swivel-Glider-and-Ottoman-WM6009SGO-M-DRIA1086.html

Where are you located? We got ours at the Jordan's furniture outlet... I forget the name but it's super comfortable and was a great price. They always have a bunch of gliders. I bought a knit pouf ottoman from cb2.

Love love love this chair. Soooo cozy. We still have it five years later and it's my favorite chair to cozy up in.

I really love my Monte from LON. I'm 5'2" and DH is 6'0" and we both find it really comfortable to sit in. The seat has a lovely squish factor, but it's still firm.

@Alba4: yes we have one of these too and we loooooove it. It's a rocker recliner. I love just hanging out in it! I'm not nursing anymore but I love to hang out in it. It's not inexpensive
, so be warned. But worth every penny and will work in other rooms in the future (we chose a fun yet neutral fabric/print for the upholstery). My tip for whatever chair you select: make sure the arm rests are actually at a useful height. Too high and they can make BF or holding baby uncomfortable.

I got this glider from Amazon and DH and I both love it. So comfy and the gliding is really nice. Having a gliding ottoman is also key. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004L2JX6A/ref=br_it_dp_v_nS_ttl?ie=UTF8&colid=2FO5JK5ZX9BER&coliid=I2HHMJP5BHGN1U&vs=1

I had to post to recommend NOT getting the type that I purchased. I am a very frugal/thrifty person (read: cheap haha). I have this glider from Target: http://www.target.com/p/shermag-alexis-glider-rocker-and-ottoman-combo/-/A-13540887. I really regret not spending more money to get the small recliner-type chair. These cheap glider/rockers are very awkward as a nursery chair. The arms are too high for my boppy pillow to fit between them. My husband isn't an overly large man, but barely fits in the chair. My 3-month old baby is already outgrowing it - when she's nursing she pushes against the opposite arm with her feet so her whole body moves and she tries to take my nipple with her. Also, the seat cushion is already flattened quite a bit and is kind of hard. We're considering purchasing a new one already. Nursery chairs are NOT all created equal.

We have the Best Irvington... Sooo comfy/plush. It's not exactly small, but DH is a big guy so we wanted something he's comfy in too.

Best Tryp. LOVE it. I got it in a gray microfiber swirly pattern that will easily transition to be non-nursery furniture if that ever happens.
