I have noticed a lot of Bees with 2+ kids had a boy first and then a girl (myself included!). What was the gender order for you?

Girl then boy! Didn't know we were so underrepresented here!

This is a fun thread! I'm surprised at the high percentage of bees that have two of the same gender!
We have a and are currently

Interesting that girl then boy is currently losing. We had a first and can't wait to find out what #2 is going to be!

We don't know what #2 is yet, but IRL, it is jaw-dropping how many people I know with same sex LOs for 1 and 2. I mean literally everyone I know that has at least 2 children, the first 2 are the same sex.
I have a daughter and I kind of feel like this one is a boy, but it's literally the overwhelming results of my own real-life semi-clinical study that make me think this LO actually HAS to be another girl.

Boy followed by a girl who's almost halfway baked. I really expected to have two of the same because it seems so much more common. I think statistically I read somewhere that your chances go up 10% that you'll have the same sex after your first but then odds start to go in the opposite direction from third on. Pretty close to 50/50 though.

I heard/ read somewhere that you are more and more statistically likely to have the same gender, increasingly with each pregnancy, until at baby #5, the odds return to 50/50. NO idea if that's true because I can't remember where I heard it.

@MrsMccarthy: @erinpye: I had never heard that, but based on this extremely scientific poll, it's seems to be holding true ! I'm very surprised how few girl then boys there are!

Girl then boy, but she only preceded him by 9 minutes so I don't know if that counts!
