@simplyfelicity: Thanks lovely! Trying not to automatically assume the worst. It's so hard!

@jaguar: Are you getting any betas done? After two m/cs the betas brought a lot of comfort for me. I tend to now psych analyze everything and those helped reassure me that everything's fine.

@jaguar: Sorry you're experiencing cramping. Everything's a problem after a m/c--symptoms, no symptoms. I'm sorry it's causing you anxiety, though.

here's to happy healthy sticky babies all around.. also I'm glad I'm not the only one looking at pregnancy tests going.... is this one darker?

My husband is taking me to swim with dolphins today (lifelong dream!) Of course, as a person who has had two losses, I was worried about miscarrying during our trip, so I POAS. I have never seen the test line be so much darker than the control (23 dpo.) Ugh...miscarriage brain.

My appt is tomorrow. I'm nervous, but excited!

Had a great appointment today! I feel like I can start to get excited, although I'll still be cautious until at least the NT screening.

    How is everyone else doing??

@Jess1483: I just saw this! It was so much fun being towed around by a dolphin, they are so strong but gentle!
And YAYYYYYY on a great first ultrasound! I am doing fine, but taking it one day at a time and depending on God with this. Some moments, I feel hopeful and others I feel like it's doomed but, in the end, there is no way for me to know. My first ultrasound isn't until November 21st. Hopefully, time flies by.

@Jess1483: yay for seeing your baby today!!

@simplyfelicity: soooo super cool you swam with dolphins! Glad you had a great time. This is definitely on my bucket list!

We had our NT scan today!! So awesome to see baby again & have everything look great!

@simplyfelicity: So glad you had an amazing time! I did it a few years ago in Mexico and had a blast! Nov. 21 will be here before you know it! (I think my NT screen will be the first week or two in December, and I'm already antsy about that one!)

@GoGoSnoGirl: Hooray! So glad everything looked great

Me: I am so sick this time and I am only 6 weeks! I wonder why?
DH: Maybe it's because you weren't really pregnant last time since it was a blighted ovum.

@simplyfelicity: Indeed. I have been wondering about that...maybe when it's "a good one," I'm going to feel a lot different? But, then again, maybe not.

@simplyfelicity: hmmm, probably not the best thing for him to have said, but to take what he probably meant, how about: yay, you're MORE pregnant this time!! I know I have been glad to feel "more" pregnant this time around & every day I still reassess, do I FEEL pregnant?? Do my boobs still hurt, was I nauseated at all, did I chow down all day...

@FliegepilzHut: He is the sweetest man but he is also very logical about things. I just let it go since I know he means well. A couple months ago? I would have gone into a crying frenzy after a comment like that.
I also hope that this is a good sign but I know not having morning sickness isn't necessarily a bad sign.
Anyway, when is your transfer? I know it is coming up very soon! I am so excited for you and have every single finger, toe, hair crossed for you.

@GoGoSnoGirl: I love your positive spin! I went to 10 weeks last time and I feel more "pregnant" now at 6 weeks than I ever did before. Hope your pregnancy is going very well.

  23. FliegepilzHut

    pomegranate / 3533 posts

@simplyfelicity: You were definitely good to let that phrasing go...but again, I've been wondering... My transfer is just under 3 weeks away, assuming everything goes according to plan! I appreciate all the good thoughts!

@FliegepilzHut: I wondered the same thing as well and find it sort of reassuring that this feels different. Hope the next three weeks fly by.

@Jess1483: sorry I am so slow to reply but I am so happy you had a great appointment and got to see your baby on the ultrasound!

@GoGoSnoGirl: hooray for a good NT scan!!!

@simplyfelicity: glad you're feeling pregnant even though you might be sicky! I know the feeling.

I'm 36 weeks today!! It's nuts. I feel like I am going to be pregnant forever and at the same time that the time has flown by. I didn't let myself believe we were going to ever have a baby for so long but now it is getting so real.

Hope you all have a relaxing weekend!

    Hi ladies!

Cautiously joining you after a Bfp this morning...I can't quite believe it!

Your story: we got pregnant really quickly in sept 2013 after deciding to try for #2. I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage a year ago yesterday (11/7) at my 12 wk ob appt. we had seen the heartbeat at 8 weeks and everything looked great so it was a total shock. Had a d&c the next week. We have been trying ever since and here we are. I am now 35 so I was beginning to worry more and more about needing intervention.

    Due Date: 7/17
LO #: 2. DD will be three next month.

How are you coping with pregnancy after a loss: still not really believing it but trying focus on being pregnant today and on gratitude.

Is your doctor recommending different care after a loss: will call Monday. She said after the loss that she though it was a problem with the baby not me but we didn't do testing.
Something interesting about you: I am bilingual in Spanish and have lived abroad for extended periods twice.

@MamaCate: Congratulations! This is so exciting! Wishing you all the absolute best!

P.S. I hope you will join us on the July board whenever you feel ready.

@simplyfelicity: Thanks so much!! It is still sinking in and I feel fine, so it is hard to believe. I will be working up my courage to join the July board hopefully in the next little bit.

@Jess1483: How are you doing? Morning sickness pass yet?

  32. Jess1483

    nectarine / 2641 posts

@simplyfelicity: Thanks for asking! No, I've still got mild-moderate morning sickness, and I'm happy for it! I'm going to have a hard time waiting for the NT screening (I'm terrified of a missed m/c now), so it's reassuring to have the nausea. I'm not sure I'd feel that way if it was more intense, but as it is, it's usually just a couple yucky hours in the morning, and I'm usually good after that.

    How are you doing/feeling?

  33. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

So, I feel like my heart is starting to thaw about the baby (<-- see? I even called it a baby! Like first time!) I avoided talking about it since I found out, wouldn't pin anything baby related, wouldn't download any apps, talk names, etc...I haven't done all that but I am actually not perturbed or put off anymore. I might even be well...excited. I know I should just take my feelings as they come but a part of me wants to squash them. I won't because today I am pregnant and hope is so important...took me a few weeks to get there but I am *cautiously* there.

  34. Jess1483

    nectarine / 2641 posts

@simplyfelicity: Haha, you did call it a baby! I went through the same process, although a little faster, I think. And seeing the baby last week was awesome. But now I just want to know everything's ok every day! I'm afraid of a bad 12-week appointment. Sigh.

    When's your first appointment? Ultrasound?

  35. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@Jess1483: I just posted a novel above.... But this morning sickness is kicking my butt! I did not have this before. I am kind of grateful for it unless I throw up in my car. I am 6w4d, so it makes sense. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
I hear you on the anxiety. When I get that feeling, I just put it back in God's hands, praying for His appointed time and for peace that surpasses my understanding. I spent my whole last pregnancy. Looking up miscarriage statistics and worrying, so I am trying my best to put Him in the driver's seat because His love for me and this baby goes beyond what I could even comprehend. Not meaning to preach at ya...just reminding myself.

@simplyfelicity: That's definitely good to keep in mind I try to do the same, but I'm not very good at it, haha.

@Jess1483: How about a doppler? Are you afraid it might freak you out to not be able to find it (if just by your own error?) Our first ultrasound is on November 24th. We actually had it scheduled on the 14th but my husband has work stuff. Hopefully, these next few weeks fly by!

@simplyfelicity: I lent it to a friend over a year ago!! I'm hoping to get it back on Saturday, although yes, it's so hard to find this early, it may make it worse. I have a better idea where to find it this time, though!

@MamaCate: so happy to see you here!!

@simplyfelicity: @Jess1483: hi ladies! I got a Doppler after reading posts by the ladies on the May due date board & haven't been able to find the HB yet. I'm really trying not to get down about that & tell myself it's still early, but I'm just a few days short of 12w & even though we've had 3 good u/S's, I STILL worry a little.

@GoGoSnoGirl: i found it at 9 weeks after hours of searching with my son. It was really low. Like, below my pant line. Hope you find it soon! But also, I tried to find it at, like, 18 weeks and couldn't. They are tricky!
