How soon have you or someone else you know, gotten pregnant after having a baby?

14 months, I had a few friends who had two kids between my two. On purpose. Boggles my mind!

@zippylef: Oy I'm pretty impressed she HAD sex 2wk pp! Sex was pretty much the last thing on my mind 2wk pp.
My high school boyfriend and his younger brother are 11 months apart. Funny thing is his mom was on BC with both for bad periods and had been told she couldn't have kids...

@FutureMrsMcK: From what I understand, it wasn't so much that she WANTED to have sex. I get the feeling that she just gave in to appease her husband and they both thought she couldn't get pregnant so soon.

I have a friend whose girls are a year and 3 days apart.

I have a good friend that was pregnant at her 6 week checkup.
I was told before I left the hospital by my doctor that I'd better not show up pregnant when I came in at my 6 week appt. I guess it's common enough that he really wants you to understand it happens. Also, the nurses told us that they catch people all the time having sex in the hospital room in the days after delivery. They say they have to yell at them because it's not safe for your body.

I too know someone who got pregnant 6 weeks pp. My FIL and his little brother are only ten months apart.

Friends kids are 11 months apart. She was kind of devastated at the time but loves it now.

I have a friend who has kids just under a year apart.

Both of my SILs got pregnant with #2 when their first was 9 months old. With the first SIL, that seemed SO soon, but now my nieces are 9 & 10 and they have always been best friends. Said SIL thinks that it was really hard when they were itty bitty, but that you got through those tough early years faster.

my friend was 6 weeks pp and breastfeeding, she couldn't figure out why she wasn't losing her baby weight and that's when she found out she was pregnant again!

My mom was obviously pregnant with my second brother 3 months after my 1st brother. They are exactly (+2days) 13m apart.

My mom waited about 9 months, but i know most doctors say you should wait a year so your body can recover. I can't imagine not waiting at least a year, yikes! Although I do know someone who had twins and got pregnant 3 months after. Condoms, people!

I know a girl with kids 10.5 months apart. Crazy.
