When you were pregnant, did you find that you found more and more people around you were pregnant, as well? Maybe pregnant women gravitate towards one another?
Last night, we were at orientation for our pediatrician and we saw our diagonal neighbors! I had no clue she was pregnant (we don't spend much time in our front yards) and she's due just one month after me. SO excited about this!! It happened just when I thought I was the only pregnant woman around, too (in my neighborhood, at least).

I have some girls I went to HS with that have babies under 2, as well as a few who are pregnant, but none that I'm already really close with. I'm alone in that regard! But I'm hoping to maybe reconnect with some of them to have a mom-group of friends, too! and we plan on doing baby swim at 6 months in our town, so maybe I'll meet some new parents there

Other than my sister....(for the first time around) it was just us.
Now with my second pregnancy... it's nuts.

I wish I knew someone else who was pregnant

It sort of happened that way for me. First time around two of our neighbors found announced they were pregnant at the same time as me then my co-worker found out she was pregnant about half-way through my pregnancy. This time two of our neighbors are again pregnant as well as one of my cousins.

Let's see - we had friends/family due in January, February, March and April. And we're due in May. So yeah, we're surrounded by pregnant people. We recently found out another friend is due in October. It's raining babies here!

More of my friends were pregnant and gave birth during the year before I got pregnant (we were all sort of trying around the same time, but it worked out for them, not us!) I do have a few pregnant friends - one just gave birth, one is about 8 wks pregnant now, and my sister is due a month after me.

This year seems to be the year of babies for our friends, DH's best friend's wife (and my good friend) is due 10 days before us, and his cousin is due 3 weeks after us. I also have another friend who is due 4 days before us! It's going to be a crazy fall!

So many of our friends are pregnant right now. In our circle of close friends, there will be 7 babies born between now and September, and my SIL is pregnant. It's so much fun going through pregnancy with friends!

Don't know of any close friends that are pregnant, but my next door neighbor had a baby a few weeks ago, and I just saw my diagonal neighbor walking in the door with her newborn this morning!! Mine is due in November. Maybe we can all be walking buddies with our kiddos eventually.

My boss had a baby three months before I did, and the girl with the office next to mine had her baby two months before I did.
In the group of six couples that DH and I hang out with at least once a week, usually more, four other couples had babies within a year of ours (i.e. only one couple out of the six doesn't currently have a child under 18 months).

I don't have any pregnant friends yet, but DH did run into our across the street neighbor after we got our BFP and found that they were almost 20 weeks along with their second! (We hadn't seen them pretty much all winter long!)

It's been a baby year in our group of friends! Two couples just had babies in February and 3 of us are due within a month of each other this fall! It's crazy and really exciting One of the other girls and I even have the exact same due date!

There are 2 other women on my block who are pregnant, both with their 4th. One may or may not have had her baby last night-she's due May 6th...I know she went to the hospital with contractions, but I haven't heard whether or not she actually had the baby yet. The other is due a month or so after me.
I also have two Facebook friends who are pregnant, one due in early June and the other late August.

I have lots of pregnant friends or friends with recent babies. But I found out right before my BFP that my best friend is pregnant too! She's only 2 weeks ahead of me! And coincidentally, she's exactly 2 weeks older than me also. We're both still in the very early stages, so I hope everything goes well for both of us.

I WISH I had pregnant friends! None of my friends are remotely close to babies, no one in the family is having babies, and DH's friends have toddlers or are done having them. Neighbors aren't having babies, the people at church aren't having babies...
There's only one couple I know of, who just announced a few days ago and are due about a week before me. But we don't really know them.

I know 17 babies coming this year! Two of which are my really close friends. It feels like a baby boom but it's true, it's probably just more noticeable now that i'm expecting.
