I'm a little over 15 weeks, and not really showing yet, so i don't exactly have a belly weighing me down. I tried to run this morning (i've been running around 2-3x a week, slower than i used to), and i had some hip pain on the right side. Full disclosure, i did two workout videos this weekend that were pretty good workouts, so it could be general soreness, but it doesn't hurt at all when i'm not actively running and it stopped as soon as i stopped (and started when i tried to start again).

I've read that some experience hip pain (round ligament pain i think?) while running pregnant and that getting something to support the belly may help. but i'm just wondering if this is too early to be experiencing that since i'm not really showing yet.

I've recently noticed what i think is round ligament pain occasionally when i try to shift positions too quickly while lying down, and i think the pain is similar. Is this something I should expect to experience for the remainder of pregnancy?

I'd love to hear any runners who experienced this, and if you just stopped running completely or if it was temporary as your belly began to grow? and any tips to ease the pain would be great! I'd really like to continue running, but obviously don't want to do anything that could make things worse in the long run (no pun intended!)
